Chapter 1085 Sebastian’s Dread
Hanging from the ceiling, Morgan shouted desperately, “Lilian, get out of here right now! Do you hear me? We don’t want your help, and you don’t owe us a damn thing. You said you were done with the Sinclair family, so consider our lives the price for everything we owe you and your mother. Now go!”
“Have you lost your mind?” Beth shrieked. “You might be ready to die, but Henry and I want to live! We only got kidnapped because of her. It is her responsibility to get us out of here, even if she has to trade her life for ours!”
Lilian shot them a lethal look. “Both of you, shut up. I said I would get you out, and I will. If I hear one more word out of either of you, don’t blame me for what happens next.”
Beth fell silent instantly.
Lilian turned back to the man in front of her, her voice turning ice-cold, “You seem very confident that you can actually take my life today.”
“Absolutely” Tyson said with a smirk. “I will be honest with you. There are dozens of my brothers in this warehouse, and every single one of them is an elite fighter. Even if you were some world-class master, there is no way out of here. Be smart. Don’t make think?” this difficult for us. It would be a shame to ruin a face as pretty as yours with a messy death, don’t you
Lilian nodded thoughtfully. “It sounds like I am not making it back from this trip. In that case, I want to know who your boss is. Why do they want me dead so badly? If I am going to die, I should at least know who my enemy is. I refuse to go to my grave with unanswered questions.”
Tyson let out a cold laugh. “What is the point? You will be dead. It is not like you can crawl back out of the ground to settle the score.”
“Sir, that is the current progress report for the company.”
Sebastian nodded, his voice deep and commanding. “Proceed with the current plan for now. Later on…” He cut himself off, his breath hitching. A sudden, violent wave of unease washed over him, and a sharp pain flared in his chest, making it hard to breathe
Foster, noticing the man’s sudden pallor, leaned in. “Are you alright?”
Sebastian pressed a hand to his heart. This feeling was all too familiar. He had felt this exact same dread the day Lilian disappeared years ago. He fought to suppress the rising panic and turned to Foster. “Call Louis. Find out if Lilian is home.”
