Chapter 1086 Sebastian’s Dread

Foster stared in confusion for a split second before snapping into action. He did not understand the sudden order but he pulled out his phone and dialed the number immediately. The call connected almost instantly. “Louis is Lilian home?”

“She is? Good. That is all I needed to know.” He hung up and turned to the man beside him. “She is getting her makeup done”

Sebastian felt his racing heart finally begin to steady. He must have been overthinking things. “Continue the meeting” he commanded.

Back at Ravenwood Manor.

Louis set the phone down and glanced toward the upper floors with a lingering sense of doubt. Lilian’s mood today felt off but he shook the thought away with a self-deprecating smile. After all that was undeniably her face.

In the master bedroom on the ninth floor Triny sat at the vanity in an ice-blue evening gown looking utterly smug. Ada the stylist worked with practiced precision on her makeup.

Triny was floored that Sebastian had hired someone as world-renowned as Ada just to style her. Though she knew the gesture was meant for Lilian she suppressed her bitterness by reminding herself that everything in this room was now hers to keep.

The stylist looked at the gown and gasped. “This dress is amazing. Sebastian really is obsessed with you.”

Triny’s expression stiffened. Even though she was currently Lilian she could not help but feel like Ada was comparing her unfavorably to the other woman. She fought to keep her temper in check her face looking strained. “Yes I have not been sleeping well lately.”

She could not afford a confrontation yet, not until she had Sebastian completely under her thumb. For now she would play the part of the submissive quiet girl.

By the time the styling was finished it was seven o’clock,

Triny stared at her reflection in the mirror stunned by the woman looking back at her. She had to admit that this face was breathtaking. It was so beautiful it was infuriating.

But the realization that she was now the only one in the world who possessed this face filled her with a dark giddy triumph. She was desperate for Sebastian to see her like this. She was certain that once he laid eyes on her he would be completely captivated.
