Chapter 151 Vengeance on the Open Sea
Finished
Jasmine’s face turned ashen, her heart pounding so hard it felt like it would burst out of her chest.
“Don’t come any closer! There are four of us–we’re not afraid of you,” Amber snapped.
Before the words left her mouth, Stella grabbed Amber by the throat and dragged her forward.
“Mom! Mom, help me!” Amber screamed.
It was then they realized–there were only six people on the entire ship.
Crack!
“Aah!”
The whip came down, tearing through flesh and drawing blood instantly. Amber’s terrified screams echoed over the ocean.
The bloodcurdling cries left Ruby and her daughter trembling with fear in the next room.
“Stella Shaw, you’re crazy! I’m going to report you!” Amber yelled.
Stella paid her no mind. She gripped the bloodstained whip and stepped toward Michelle, swinging it so it coiled around Michelle’s waist and yanking her forward.
“Aahhh…”
Michelle’s eyes widened in terror, convinced she was about to die. She flew through the air for a moment before crashing heavily onto Amber.
“Mom! You’re squishing me!” Amber whimpered.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
The whip cracked repeatedly.
“Aah… I can’t breathe!”
Amber and Michelle were in so much pain they could barely gasp for air.
“You’re insane!” Amber snarled, equal parts terrified and furious.
“This is nothing,” Stella said, a bloodthirsty smile spreading across her face like a demon from hell. “When
my mom was sold to White Pit Village, being whipped was a daily routine.”
Amber broke down crying, begging for mercy. “I–I didn’t mean to hurt her!”
Michelle glared at her, too angry to speak.
“This whip is for hurting my mom,” Stella said coldly.

“Aahhhh…”

Their screams were so gut–wrenching that Ruby and her daughter wet themselves, separated only by a thin wall.
“I–I’m passing out…” Amber managed to gasp before closing her eyes.
Heh heh heh!
Stella chuckled darkly. “Sure you are?”
Amber clamped her mouth and eyes shut tight, her brows furrowed and her face twitching with fear.
“Should I whip your mom first then?” Stella asked.
Amber let out a quiet sigh of relief, her tense brows relaxing slightly.
“Wait a second,” Stella said suddenly. “I’m a prodigy healer–healing comes first.”
Amber stared in disbelief.
Crack!
“Aah… cough…”
The whip struck again, and Amber’s scream was so loud it felt like the sky was falling. She couldn’t hold back, spitting up a mouthful of blood.
“Awake now? Looks like my treatment’s working,” Stella said casually.
“You–you monster!” Amber tried to fight back, but she had no strength left.
She looked at the barely conscious Michelle and cried out, “Mom! Wake up! Please wake up!”
“Don’t rush–I’ll heal her,” Stella said.
Are you even human? Amber wanted to scream.
Stella meant what she said about healing. Michelle was too old to withstand the beating–she couldn’t let her die that easily. That would be far too kind.
When Michelle opened her eyes again and locked gazes with Stella, she saw nothing but a devil.
“Awake? Shall we continue?” Stella asked.
“What do you want? I’ll give you anything!” Michelle begged.
Stella laughed out loud at that, “What do you have that I don’t?
“Money? Do you have more than me?”

Michelle fell silent.
Stella’s smile was as striking and dangerous as the flowers on the path to the underworld. “That rare restorative cream? I make it myself.”
Michelle had no reply.
