Chapter 185 The Trap Backfires
The next day.
Azure Peak University.
Stella knew Seraphina was in town and that she was targeting her.
But she never expected Seraphina to be this ruthless–striking at Azure Peak U, and before her art show,
too.
“Get in. Drive.”
A sharp knife pressed into her waist.
Stella felt no fear. She subtly shook her head at the nearby bodyguards.
“Ms. Shaw, class is over.”
“Yep.”
“Ms. Shaw, want dinner with us?”
“You guys go ahead.”
“Bye, Ms. Shaw.”
“See you.”
This was her personal fight. She wouldn’t let innocent people get hurt.
“Get in the car. Or I’ll slice those pretty faces you were just talking to.”
Stella didn’t resist. She slammed on the gas and pulled away from the university.
Her bodyguards immediately called Elias and gave chase.
She glanced at the man in the passenger seat, her voice icy.
“Seatbelt.”
The man stared at her, stunned.
I’m kidnapping her, and she’s telling me to buckle up?
Isn’t she scared?
Aren’t rumors saying she’s just a helpless girl? Why isn’t she crying?
He felt a flicker of frustration.
The red Porsche tore down the road, heading toward an empty development zone.

“Warehouse on the outskirts,” the man said.
His face paled. He quickly fastened his seatbelt.
The car jolted so hard he was thrown upward, hitting his head.
Furious, he slashed his knife toward her face.
Stella ducked, spun the wheel hard, and flipped the top down.
The car raced so fast it nearly took flight.
The Porsche skidded sideways, and the man was thrown out.
Stella drifted to a stop, dust swirling around her.
She stepped out. The man stared at her in disbelief.
I underestimated her.
I let my mind wander, thinking about what I’d do to her.
I never imagined she didn’t take me seriously at all.
It’s an insult to my career.
But the girl is overconfident.
No one is around. Perfect for me.
“Why the warehouse?” Stella snarled.
“Gonna give you a real good time,” he leered.
Stella’s eyes narrowed. She smiled coldly. “Call your boss. Tell her to come.”
“You telling me what to do? Little girl, I’m the one who kidnapped you.”
She laughed, got back in, and started the engine.
He ran. She chased.
A cold smile played on her lips as she floored the gas.
He ran straight–she drove straight.
He weaved side to side–she mirrored him.
“Stop!”
A loud splash.
