The Last Lycan King Is My Slave novel Chapter 192

A Monstrous Estingia Wolf

HSIDORA

It was as if every step weighed tons, as if someone were squeezing my lungs

I opened my mouth, panting, and the door closed behind me.

Then something began to glow around me, and I realized the room was much larger than I had imagined. Except for the black floor, every wall and the ceiling were covered with some kind of dark polished stone.

Now they shone in a magical, unbelievable way. But they weren’t only beautiful. They were oppressive. They pushed all th superior power down over our bodies.

I walked slowly toward the center of the room, beneath the middle point of the ceiling, and let myself drop to do what Solange had instructed.

I practiced my own method to circulate my power, the one Blaze had given me.

With my legs crossed, I closed my eyes and concentrated on that red energy running through my veins. Then I began to move it through every part of my body.

I could see my inner world, starting from my heart and moving through my arms, my fingers, my whole torso, my legs, and then returning.

My mind fed on my Estingia magic too, but then I suddenly began to see a black energy seeping through my pores.

It was like a parasite, competing with my power, chasing my energy so it could devour it.

“No, tio…” I muttered, feeling so weak, as if it were draining all my strength.

Drops of sweat rolled down me, soaking my clothes until they clung to my feverish skin.

The whole room seemed to spin around me all at once, but I stubbornly kept moving my energy, escaping the control of that dark power the damn stones gave off.

I couldn’t even keep myself sitting upright.

1 fell onto my back with a heavy thud, my clouded eyes staring up at the ceiling, where the glowing points looked like stars in a galaxy.

My ribs felt crushed against my heart, but soon the scarlet energy in my body began to roar, taking more and more speed, counterattacking that magical force.

It stopped running. It began to fight. And I felt as if two powers were colliding inside me.

“Aaahh!”

A tearing roar thundered out of my chest, and my vision filled with red she-wolves, mist spilling from my body and filling ine whole space.

Fangs tore out of my gums with brutal force, and claws carved grooves into the floor.

Someone was roaring.

I could hear it from far away, hoarse, broken, as if fighting thousands of demons.

“Stay back, don’t go in! Damn it! Control your wolf, Isidora. Put your power to sleep. NOW!”

The ruthless order cut through the storm clouds in my mind, and I felt the taste of blood rising up my throat.

I turned onto my side as I vomited everything in my stomach and fell into complete unconsciousness.

I had control over nothing. I only wanted to sleep. Forever…

SLAP!

The sound rang out at the same time as the burst of pain in my cheek, and the shock jolted me awake

I was disoriented for a second, until I managed to lift my head and see Lady Solange in front of me

Damn it She had hit me. But with that serious look on her face, I didn’t even dare protest

My eyes, still erratic, moved to the girls standing beside her, looking at me with terrible worry

what happened? My voice felt thick, each syllable costing me horribly

“What.

“What happened is that you’re more reckless than I imagined. Were you that desperate to win those damn stones?” she asked with a huff, but the relieved sigh that followed told me I had scared her badly.

“No I just remember there was dark magic inside me, and then

1 fought #? Not even i understood what had happened

A Monstrous Estingia Wolf

Karla and Mika looked at me as if I had grown another head.

That wasn’t supposed to happen until you had gotten used to the room for a few more weeks. You were only supposed to endure the pressure, not fight it… at least, that’s what normal Estingias do…”

She paused, leaving words unsaid.

Her brow furrowed as if she were thinking about very complicated things.

“Anyway, you almost wrecked the room. You need to learn how to control that monstrous wolf of yours. You walk before you run, Lady Isidora… Go recover now. You all look like disasters.”

She started walking down the hallway, making a careless gesture with her hand, but I saw a few red burn marks on her skin

that hadn’t been there before.

“Did we win or lose?” I asked before her back disappeared.

A huff sounded with her footsteps.

“Bets with today’s novices aren’t fun anymore…” I understood nothing.

I looked at my friends, who were leaning on each other like a pair of bookends.

“Dora… you were in there for almost an hour…” Mika whispered.

When she said that, my eyes widened. An… an hour?

“Even Lady Solange was shocked,” Karla added. “She said only two New Moon Estingias had ever managed that their first time. Our mentor… and the owner of your sword.”

She nodded toward my sword, Sonya, and my gaze drifted to her too, sensing that the material she was made from… was very similar to those dark stones.

Every step I took toward my goal brought me closer to the mystery of her owner.

And I wanted to know why I had the feeling that, somehow, our fates were tangled together.

“Tomorrow… we’ll come back to train again…” There was no time for weakness.

The tournament at the Winter Castle was already drawing near.
