Chapter 208
Chapter 208
ISIDORA
“I’m very fond of Dream Dust. I use it for my insomnia. I hope you’ll be as generous with me as I intend to be with you.
Those were her final words, though I suspected that was what she had been after from the beginning,
Dream Dust.
She wanted more of the drug, and I was certain she intended to use it to keep that powerful old woman trapped in ber hallucinations.
If the old woman had been the teacher of the diary’s owner, then she had to be an incredibly powerful Estingia.
“You won’t get a thing from me,” I muttered.
I needed to send a message to my mentor and tell her we had to protect the Dream Dust business more carefully.
Her formidable reputation was the main reason we had remained safe until now.
I think I’ll tell her about that old woman too. Something about all this feels very wrong, and it’s too big for me to handle on
my own.
At that moment, Elessia cautiously appeared in the stairwell, looking like a frightened little rabbit.
I quickly motioned for her to follow me into the bedroom, and the door closed behind her.
“Goddess… What happened here, Dora?”
“Did you pick up the book I dropped?”
“Yes, yes…” She quickly pulled the diary from between the layers of her dress.
I took it with a relieved sigh.
“Thank the Goddess you saw my signal. The Matriarch nearly caught me. I was lucky you were nearby.”
“I’m your most reliable assistant, aren’t I? Is it an important book?”
“You’re my only assistant, dummy. And yes, it’s a very important book.” I squeezed her nose, and we both smiled.
Then her expression grew serious.
“You had trouble with Blaze last night, didn’t you?”
“Why do you say that? Did you see him?” I frowned as I walked toward the chest where I intended to hide the diary among my clothes.
“This morning, just before dawn, I left the girls’ room and saw him outside. He was training in the snow like a madman…”
My hands went still for several seconds, my gaze fixed on the clothes inside the chest.
Even so, I only gave a small nod before burying the diary at the bottom. I would read it when I had time.
“Was he the one who caused all that destruction outside?”
“No. I did that… fighting Marion.” I sighed, grabbed a change of clothes, and headed for the bathroom.

Chapter 208
What?! That stupid bitch came after your”
*She went after Blaze. She wants my man.” I turned in the bathroom doorway and gave her a murderous look
Elessta’s eyes widened in understanding.
“Fucking whore..
“I won’t let her turn my life into a nightmare again. I’ll fight her to the death in the arena…”
And I meant it..
Elessia helped me get ready that morning, and I didn’t see Blaze until I was on my way to the dining hall for breakfast.
He looked like a complete wreck. His clothes were torn in several places, and fresh wounds marked his muscular arms,
His muzzle looked more imposing and dangerous than ever.
The aura around him was thick, darker than usual.
I frowned when I saw him but said nothing.
He took his place behind me and followed in silence.
We didn’t speak about what had happened the day before. I hoped I wouldn’t have to make myself clear again, but I had no idea how wrong I was when it came to Blaze.
That same afternoon, the first matches began, and I was up in the opening elimination round.
