The Luna Queen's Rebirth (Ellie and Dominic) novel Chapter 371

Chapter 371

“Are you saying my mother was in possession of something that only belonged to Lycan royals?” I asked.

Edmund reached for the syrup and began drizzling it over his pancakes. “Ellie,” he said, glancing up at me, “do you know anything about your heritage?”

I stared at the tablet. The wolf stared back, rearing up with the crown above its head, the same image I’d pored over in the

academy library texts.

Then, I thought about Gareth, ranting in that longhouse with his one good eye gleaming in the torchlight.

“You are a Lycan, are you not?”

I had written him off as a zealot, a man buried so deep in his own obsession that he had somehow convinced himself and everyone around him of something that couldn’t possibly be true. Lycans were extinct. Everyone knew that. And I, of all people. certainly wasn’t one.

And yet…

I recalled the Lycan princess. The one who had come back to life in a very similar way to myself.

Was it possible…?

The pull I’d felt so many times. Finding magical plants with a sixth sense that was only heard of in legends about the Lycans, who were always closely connected with nature in a way modern werewolves weren’t.

I thought about a lot of things, sitting in that booth with my pancakes going cold and the artifact laid out on the table between

Edmund and me.

None of it made sense.

But I felt, very distinctly, like I was standing at the edge of something very important.
