"If he hadn't confessed, were you planning on putting that knife to his throat to force it out of him? Or were you planning on taking him down with you?"

In all the time she had known Julian, this was the absolute first time she had heard him speak so harshly.

"To get the truth, you're willing to completely disregard your own safety? And the safety of the baby you're carrying?"
