Suddenly. Nova med toward the staircase and said sharply, “Who’s there?”

Moments later. Zane, Maxwell, Ethan, along with Hannah, Claire, and Jessica, walked out of the staircase.

They hadn’t overheard the earlier conversation. Their eyes were fixed on Ghost-Hammer.

It was Maxwell who finally asked, “Nova, who is this guy?”

All six listened intently, waiting for Nova’s answer.

Before Nova could answer, Ghost-Hammer spoke up cheerfully, “Hey, you must be her family, right? Nice to meet you. I’m her former colleague.”
