Chapter 64

Chapter 64

“Holy crap! Who’s this daredevil? Doesn’t he know SLRA is known as the ‘Combat Academy’? Charging in alone? He’s definitely here to cause trouble!” Someone yelled out excitedly.

The boys in Freshman Year Class A erupted with excitement. Instantly, a crowd of them rushed out of the classroom-partly to watch the spectacle, partly to teach the intruder a lesson.

“I really want to see who’s this bold!”

“Even if he’d definitely get beaten out, it’s been years since anyone dared to barge into SLRA.”

“SLRA is a real ‘Combat Academy’. Every student here knows self-defense, and together, we’re not to be messed with.”

The girls were equally eager to fight.

Students streamed out, all wanting to catch the action firsthand. Soon, only a handful remained in the classroom. Other classes were clearly in the same situation.

“This seems kind of fun,” Sophia said, standing by Nova’s desk and starting to get excited herself. “Nova, should we go and-”

Before she could finish, Nova was already walking out. “Let’s check it out.”

One hand slipped casually into her pocket, a faint smile playing on her lips. Nova thought, ‘Half a year apart, and Ghost- Hammer didn’t change a bit-reckless as ever!

“Huh? Oh, let’s go.” Sophia was momentarily caught off guard.

Given Nova’s usual aloofness, Sophia had assumed things like this wouldn’t interest her. After all, very few things caught Nova’s attention. But now, Nova was going voluntarily. It was unusual.

Sophia hurried to catch up with Nova.

On the academy’s main sports field, a dense crowd had gathered, packing the area tightly.

Students shifted and buzzed as the target figure moved, erupting now and then with shouts. “Go on! Take him down.”

“Grab his legs. Attack from the side!”

In the center of the field stood a foreign man built like a sledgehammer. He stood over six feet tall, with a massive frame, a

r thick beard, and muscles so defined they were intimidating.

Several SLRA students rushed forward, clinging to his legs and arms, but they couldn’t slow his steady advance.

This was Ghost-Hammer-a man forged in the heat of battle, tough and unyielding as iron. He casually grabbed the male students clinging to him and flung them aside effortlessly.

Compared to the life-and-death struggles of the battlefield, dealing with these students didn’t even require his full strength.

From ignoring the guards and barging into the academy to find someone, to the one-sided “battle” sparked by the students’ defiance, Ghost-Hammer remained completely unshaken.

The students buzzed with comments. “Damn, this guy is way too strong!”

“Looks like it’ll take all three prom kings working together to beat him.”

He’s solid as a hammer. Impossible to take down!”

Although Nova had won the duel tournament, that impression hadn’t deeply registered with most. In students’ eyes, the most reliable solution was stift the three prom kings joining forces.

Few even thought of Nova. After all, they thought her real combat experience couldn’t compare to the three guys.

“Look, the three prom kings are here!”

“The saviors have arrived.”

“Come on, guys! Team up and take him down.”

The crowd erupted in cheers as if seeing their heroes arrive.

They quickly parted to make way as Zane, Maxwell, and Ethan pushed through the crowd and charged straight toward Ghost-Hammer.

Though the three came from different circles, they had a well-practiced understanding when it came to defending the academy against threats.

By the time Nova and Sophia arrived, the scene was already electric.

“We get to see the three prom kings team up again. This is epic!”

“When they join forces, even the strongest opponents don’t stand a chance.”

The students’ cheers rose like a boiling wave, pushing the excitement to its peak.

As Nova appeared at the edge of the crowd, Zane, Maxwell, and Ethan were already attacking Ghost-Hammer from separate attack lines.

“SLRA isn’t a place anyone can just barge into!” Zane shouted sharply. “Whoever you are, you’ll pay for this.”

His heroic stance drew another round of screams from the girls.

Maxwell and Ethan stayed silent but struck with fierce precision.

“Go, Max!” Hannah yelled from the crowd.

Claire and Jessica were also watching. Though they didn’t join the fight, they cheered the trio on.

At that moment, the entire school’s attention was fixed on the three boys.

Three powerful kicks landed at once on Ghost-Hammer’s abdomen and both sides of his waist. They were trying to soften him up first, then go in for the kill once he lost his footing.

Everyone expected Ghost-Hammer to stagger back, but he didn’t even budge an inch.

His expression darkened. On the battlefield, those who knew him would recognize this as a sign he was about to unleash

lethal force.

Ghost-Hammer was indeed meticulous, but his patience was reserved only for the mercenary king. Bloodforge. Toward everyone else, he showed no mercy.

After taking the kicks, Ghost-Hammer lunged forward, Zane, Maxwell, and Ethan, unable to retract their kicks in time, lost

Chalance and fell

Ghost-Hammer roared in Zoriaien, his rough voice echoing over the field, “I’m just here to find someone. I’ll leave once I do. But you keep getting in my way. You’re begging for trouble!”

He threw a heavy punch toward the nearest one-Maxwell. The force was deadly.

Seeing this, the whole crowd froze.

At this critical moment, a figure darted through the crowd like lightning. Before the punch landed, a slender yet strong hand caught that terrifying fist firmly.

It was Nova. She seized Ghost-Hammer’s forearm, turned around, and executed a flawless shoulder throw, slamming the bull-like man to the ground. The whole move was fluid and effortless.

With that, Nova looked down at Ghost-Hammer on the ground, arms crossed, a smile on her face as she offered him a hand. “Old friend, long time no see. I’m really glad you’re still alive.”
