Epilogue I
Five Years Later
Claim
Iva sat before the ornate mirror, her reflection staring back at her-a woman transformed. The pale blue gown she wore was a masterpiece of silk and lace, its bodice embroidered with silverthread that caught the light and sparkled like diamonds.
Her hair was swept up in an elaborate style, adorned with a delicate crown of moonflowers and her face glowed with a happiness that radiated from within.
Five years.
Five years since she met the lover of her life… her mate… Caleb Adama. Five years of healing, of rebuilding, of learning to trust and love and live.
And now, today, she would be crowned Queen.
A small tornado of energy burst through the room, shattering her reverie.
“Youssef! Come back here this instant!”
Iva turned, a smile tugging at her lips as she watched her son-her beautiful, mischievous, impossible son-dart across the room, his small legs carrying him as fast as they could. His dark hair was a mess, his tiny shirt was half-buttoned, and his face was alight with the kind of glee that only a four-year-old could possess.
“Can’t catch me, Grandma! Can’t catch me!” he squealed, dodging around a chair and nearly
colliding with a vase.
Rana, Iva’s mother, chased after him, her elegant gown hiked up around her knees, her face a mixture of exasperation and adoration.
“You little rascal! Come here so I can dress you properly! You can’t go to the coronation looking like a wild thing!”
Iva laughed, the sound warm and full.
Youssef caught her eye and grinned-that same devastating grin his father wore, the one that made her heart flutter every single time. He had Caleb’s eyes, dark and intense, and his features were already sharpening into the handsome lines of the man he would one day become. But his
spirit was all his own-wild and curious and full of joy.
“Grandma can’t catch me, Mama!” he crowed. “I’m too fast!”
Iva raised an eyebrow.

“I can’t believe it,” Rana said softly, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “Today you will be crowned Queen.”
turned to her mother, her own eyes filling with emotion.
“I know,” she whispered. “I can hardly believe it myself.”
Rana reached out and cupped her daughter’s face.

“You deserve all the happiness in the world,” she said, her voice thick with emotion. “And I am so
grateful that the Moon Goddess gave you a second chance. That she brought you back to us. That
she gave you this life.”
Iva smiled, her heart swelling with love.
“We both got our second chance,” she said, teasing gently. “You found Elian. You found love again
after everything.”
Rana blushed like a young girl.
“He is a good man,” she admitted. “I never thought I would find someone after your father. But the
Goddess works in mysterious ways.”
Iva nodded, but for a moment, her eyes clouded.
She thought of the harsh way Caleb had handled her pack’s high ranks. The majority of them were serving long sentences in the Lycan dungeons, their crimes exposed, their abuses laid bare. He had uncovered illegal dealings, forced matings, embezzlement, and worse. He had shown no mercy to those who had hurt her.
She thought of Nick.
Her first fated mate. He was nothing now-a broken man serving a life sentence, stripped of his
title, his lands, his power. She had once been hurt by his rejection, by his cruelty. But now, she felt
nothing but gratitude.
If he hadn’t rejected her, she never would have found Caleb.
She pushed the thoughts aside, straightening her shoulders.
“Today is a happy day,” she said firmly. “I won’t let the past darken it.”
Rana nodded, squeezing her hand.
“Then let’s go. Your king is waiting.”

The ceremony hall was magnificent.
Claim
Thousands of candles flickered in crystal chandeliers, casting a warm golden glow across the marble floor. Flowers cascaded from every surface, their fragrance filling the air. The pews were packed with wolves from every corner of the kingdom-nobles and commoners alike, all gathered
to witness the coronation of their new Queen.
And at the end of the aisle, standing before the altar, was Caleb.
He was dressed in royal robes of deep blue and silver, his dark hair swept back, his dark eyes fixed on her with an intensity that made her breath catch. He looked every inch the king he was powerful, commanding, breathtakingly handsome.
Beside him stood the Lycan King and Queen, their faces glowing with pride.
