Fight for Their Bond-1
Lori lay in Attia’s arms, her body still tingling from the night’s passion. The marks on their necks pulsed with warmth-a constant reminder of the bond they had sealed. She felt safe, protected, loved.
But something was wrong.
She couldn’t shake the feeling that the peace was fragile. That outside these walls, the world was waiting to tear them apart.
Attia seemed to sense her unease. His arms tightened around her, pulling her closer.
“What is it?” he murmured against her hair.
Lori hesitated.
“Your family,” she said quietly. “They won’t take this well. I know you tol me to drop it, but there is something that is not letting me rest…”
Attia was silent for a moment. His hand moved in slow circles on her back, soothing and grounding.
“They’ll have to accept it,” he said finally. “We’re mated. The bond is complete. There’s nothing they can do to change that.”
Lori nodded, but the knot in her stomach didn’t loosen.
“What about Monica?” she asked. “And her family? They won’t just let this go. The backlash.”
Attia’s jaw tightened.
“No,” he admitted. “They won’t. But I will handle them. I will handle all of it.”
Lori looked up at him, her green eyes searching his face.
“How?”
Attia met her gaze.
“I don’t know yet,” he said honestly. “But I will find a way. I will not let anyone hurt you, ori. Not my family. Not Monica. Not anyone. Now we are together… you are my mate and is my role to cherish and protect you.”
She wanted to believe him.
She did.
But the weight of what they had done-the consequences they would face-pressed down on her like a physical weight.
Across the kingdom, in the heart of the Scott family estate, a storm was brewing.
Alpha Scott sat in his study, his face carved from stone. Before him lay a series of photographs-images

of his son, Attia, leaving the academy with that red-haired girl. Images of them boarding a helicopter. Tmages of them arriving at the secluded villa.
His hands were clenched into fists on the mahogany desk.
“So,” he said, his voice cold and deadly. “He’s done it. He’s actually done it.”

Luna Scott stood by the window, her back to her husband. Her shoulders were rigid, her hands clasped tightly in front of her.
“Who is she? A no-name…” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Lorelei Thompson,” Lord Scott said, spitting the name like poison. “A medical student. A Delta. A nobody.”
Luna Scott turned, her eyes blazing with a fury that matched her husband’s.
“She’s ruined him,” she hissed. “She’s ruined everything we built, everything we planned.”
Alpha Scott rose from his desk and walked to the window, staring out at the manicured gardens.
“Not yet,” he said slowly. “Not if we act quickly.”
Luna Scott’s eyes narrowed.
“What are you planning?”
Alpha Scott’s lips curved into a cold smile.
“Monica’s family is already aware of the situation,” he said. “They’ve been… cooperative. They want justice for their daughter. They want to see Attia punished for his betrayal.”
“And?”
“And I’ve been in contact with certain members of the Council. They’re sympathetic to our cause. They believe that fated mates or not, Attia’s actions have damaged the reputation of the Scott family. They’re willing to help us… correct the situation.”
Luna Scott’s eyes widened.
“You’re going to challenge the mating? To ask for a reversal, a dissolution?”
“I’m going to do whatever it takes,” Alpha Scott said, his voice hard. “If that means nullifying the bond, then so be it. If that means destroying her, then so be it.”
Luna Scott was silent for a long moment.
Then she nodded slowly.
“Tell me what to do,” she said.
