The Messenger( Iva) novel Chapter 336

He had known Attia’s reputation. Everyone knew it. The man was a legend-a hero who had sacrificed everything for his kingdom, only to be cast aside by those who should have protected him. He had been broken, wounded, left to pick up the pieces of his shattered life, before taking the prestigious position as Headmaster of the Lycan Academy.

And now, he was protecting the one person who stood between Calin and everything he had

ever wanted.

Calin rose from his chair and paced the length of the room, his mind racing.

He had spent years planning this. Years manipulating, torturing, waiting for the perfect moment to seize control of the Bloodfang Pack’s assets. The vault was the key to everything -the gold, the lands, rare magic artifacts, the power that would make him untouchable.

And now, some washed-up former general was standing in his way.

Calin stopped pacing.

His eyes narrowed.

He was not the kind of man who accepted defeat. He was not the kind of man who let

obstacles stand in his path. He had built his empire on a foundation of manipulation and cunning, and he would not let it all crumble because of one stubborn wolf.

He lifted his head, a cold smile spreading across his lips.

He reached for his phone.

He scrolled through his contacts until he found the name he was looking for.

Scott Senior himself.

He pressed call.

The line rang once. Twice. Three times.

Then a voice answered-cold, aristocratic, familiar.

“Alpha Calin. To what do I owe the pleasure?”

Calin’s smile widened.

“Lord Scott,” he said smoothly. “I have a proposition for you. One that I believe will be of

mutual benefit.”

There was a pause on the other end.
