Primrose bit her lower lip, then gave a small nod in response to Edmund’s words. "I ... really like kissing," she confessed shyly, then immediately covered her face with both hands, completely flustered by what she’d just said.
"Why?" Edmund asked on purpose, even though he could already tell how embarrassed she was.
She peeked at him through the gap between her fingers, her eyes filled with sincerity. "I don’t know," she whispered softly. "It just makes me feel like you really love me." Her voice faded into a whisper at the end because she was too shy to say it out loud.
Edmund leaned in, gently lifting her into his lap before she even realized what was happening. He carefully moved her hands away so he could see her face. "That’s because I do love you," he said softly, then gave her a light kiss on the lips, just enough to make her cheeks flush even redder. "I love you so much ... Primrose."
Primrose felt like her heart stopped for a moment after hearing Edmund’s deep voice. The way he said her name was so gentle, like it was full of love and it ignited something inside her.
Oddly enough, that kind of gentleness stirred her desire more than any sensual touch ever could.
"I ... love you too." She turned her face away slightly, too shy to meet his gaze while saying it. But to her surprise, Edmund immediately started planting soft kisses all over her cheek and neck.
[She always looks so adorable when she’s blushing,] Edmund thought, his heart swelling. [Oh ... even her shoulders are turning red now.]
[Even her voice sounds so sweet when she whimpers and moans,] he continued in his head, completely smitten. [She’s too cute! I just want to bite her.]
Primrose shut one eye when Edmund suddenly bit her cheek, not kissed, not licked, but bit her!
Did he think she looked like a strawberry cake or something?!
But even though it felt a bit weird, Primrose didn’t have the slightest intention of stopping her husband. Like she said before, his kisses always made her feel addicted and weak.
"Husband ... husband, wait," she finally said, holding his lips back gently. "I like kissing, but we can’t do this forever." She reminded him, "We have a date this afternoon, remember?"
[A d-date?! She actually called it a date?!]
Why did he look so shocked like that? This wasn’t the first time she had used the word "date" to describe their vacation plans.
"I remember," he said quickly. "Of course I remember."
Primrose hesitated before saying, "So ... you also know that we won’t have time to keep doing this for long, right?" She smiled a little. "I know your saliva helps restore my energy, but if we keep going like this ... I might sleep until evening."
Edmund let out a soft sigh and nodded. "I know," he said as he gently caressed her cheek. "Don’t worry, I’ll behave."
Primrose clutched the front of Edmund’s shirt, her voice barely a whisper. "But if you don’t feel like going outside, we don’t have to." She lowered her gaze, guilt creeping into her chest. "After all, I’ve been ignoring you these past few days."
"Primrose, it doesn’t matter," Edmund replied gently. "You weren’t avoiding me on purpose, so don’t feel bad." He gave her a soft, reassuring smile. "Alright, how about this? We’ll only make love for no more than an hour. After that, you can go back to sleep, and I’ll wake you up before noon."
"Is one hour really enough for you?" Primrose asked softly.
"That’s not the right question, my wife." Edmund slowly leaned forward, guiding her back down onto the bed. "The real question is ... are you okay with us doing it for an hour? I can shorten it if you need more rest."
[I don’t want to tire her out today,] he thought. [She’s been through a lot lately ... I just want to help her feel a little better.]
"One hour is fine," Primrose replied softly, letting him kiss her again. Between each gentle kiss, she whispered against his lips, "But ... you probably won’t be satisfied if you just kiss me for too long."
"But you like it, don’t you?" Edmund murmured with a smile. "And honestly ... seeing you enjoy it is more than enough for me."
Primrose panted slightly, her cheeks pink. "Then ... why don’t you put it in while you’re kissing me?" she said, her voice low and sweet. "That feels even better."
He’d been holding himself back all night. She could imagine how hard that must’ve been for him. At the very least, she wanted to give him a little release.
Edmund finally gave in. He pulled his pants down, though he left his shirt on, the buttons already undone. To be honest, Primrose thought he looked even hotter that way, like he was in a hurry to have her before the rest of the day caught up to them.
"I’m sorry for making you wait so long." Primrose gently wrapped her hand around his manhood, stroking him slowly without breaking eye contact. "Do you ... want me to take the lead today?"
