The Mischievous Doctor (Finnegan and Nuthana) novel Chapter 414

“Where are they?”

“In the office, Dr. Cooper. They arrived in the evening.”

Having just returned from a business trip in Bellridge, Alexander, who had not even made it home yet, hurried to the hospital upon receiving a phone call.

After inquiring with the director of the infirmary, he quickly headed toward his office.

Upon reaching the door, he adjusted his collar before pushing it open and stepping inside. He also put on a warm smile as he said, “I apologize for the wait. I was still on the highway when I received the call.”

Inside the office, there sat an elderly man and a young man.

It was indeed the grandfather and grandson who had gone to Jerome Medical Clinic in the afternoon.

Alexander's warm reception toward them was because they hailed from the wealthiest family in Glenport, the Gallagher family.

The older male was Devin Gallagher, the patriarch of the Gallagher family.

As for the young man, he was his grandson, Emory Gallagher.

It was rumored that the Gallagher family had disclosed all their assets. Even if they were not the wealthiest in Loang, they were undoubtedly among the top five.

Of course, what made the Gallaghers unique was their location in Glenport.

This made even the Five Great Families of Loang dare not confront the Gallaghers head-on.

Therefore, how could Alexander not be warm and polite?

Emory rose to his feet, courteously greeting, “Dr. Cooper.”

Devin casually lifted his gaze. His original intention was to offer a casual greeting.

However, upon seeing Alexander, his eyes immediately widened. “Are you Alexander?”

He had met Alexander a few years ago. His hair had already turned significantly grey, and his wrinkles were prominent.

But Alexander, who was just over sixty, currently looked no more than fifty.

Emory also noticed the issue and asked, “Dr. Cooper, have you become young again?”

The mention of the matter made Alexander chuckle heartily. “This is my luck, my luck indeed!”

He then briefly recounted Finnegan gifting him the Long Life Pill during Bruce's seventieth birthday banquet.

“So that's how it was. I simply reaped the benefits without any effort,” he said.

Devin became excited and asked, “Alexander, does that young man still have the Long Life Pill? I can pay any amount for it!”

If he could obtain a finished Long Life Pill, he believed that his illness would surely be cured.

Alexander flashed an awkward smile. “I wouldn't know about that. But there should be none left. Because he had previously given another one to Soren, Old Mr. Caulder,” he replied.

Upon hearing that, Devin caught the key point and asked, “So, are you saying that the Long Life Pill was produced by the one who cured Soren and is now serving as a special consultant at your hospital?”

Alexander paused for a moment, a thought striking him. “Old Mr. Gallagher, could it be that you've come to seek medical treatment from Mr. Larkin?” he asked.

With a plan already formed in his mind, Devin gently cleared his throat and said, “That's right. Please help me contact him. Tell him I'm willing to offer one hundred million... no, a billion. As long as he agrees to treat me and also provides me with a Long Life Pill!”

Alexander's expression turned perplexed.

He wants Finnegan to save his life for a billion? And also demands a Long Life Pill? How bold of him!

Seeing that Alexander remained silent, Devin thought he was looking for a favor and added, “If you arrange this matter... ahem... I can sponsor your hospital with fifty million worth of medical equipment.”

Alexander hurriedly explained, “Old Mr. Gallagher, that's not what I meant. I was trying to say... Never mind, I'll tell you straight. Although he's a special consultant at our hospital, he can do whatever he wishes. Old Mr. Gallagher, if you want to seek his medical advice or buy the Long Life Pill, it's better to go yourself.”

Naturally, Alexander was worried Finnegan would be angry if he spoke for Devin.

After all, the Long Life Pill was priceless.

Not to mention that Devin also wanted Finnegan to save his life.

Emory frowned, saying, “Dr. Cooper, please be mindful of your words. We are not here to seek medical help. Our Gallagher family doesn't need to beg others.”

Jerome Medical Clinic?

A wry smile tugged at the corner of Alexander's mouth. They're doomed.

They disrespected Finnegan today, but they want to seek his help tomorrow. Do they think Finnegan doesn't have a temper?

Devin gently coughed, saying, “He's not yet worthy of me going there in person. We'll leave it as that.”

At that moment, Finnegan was naturally unaware of the scene that had unfolded at General Hospital.

Glancing at the time, he said to Alisha, “I'm going to discuss some matters with Mandy.”

“Wait!” Alisha abruptly held him back. “First, tell me what's going on. Why did my grandpa suddenly take people back to Bellridge, and why did you tell me to be careful starting tonight?”

Finnegan pursed his lips and said, “Young ones shouldn't ask so many questions. Just do as you're told.”

“Bullsh*t. Have you ever seen a kid this well-endowed?” she argued.

After glancing over, Finnegan feared he could not hold back from squeezing them, so he quickly flung Alisha's hand away. “You'll find out when the time comes.”

With a swift motion, he jumped straight off the third-floor balcony, then somersaulted over the railing and headed toward Dragon Bay No. 2 Villa.

Infuriated, Alisha stomped her foot. “This jerk. Not again.”

Upon reaching Dragon Bay, Finnegan chose an unconventional path.

He climbed over the fence to enter the garden.

This left the Langdon family's bodyguards dumbfounded as he directly climbed from the first floor, using the windows and air conditioner frames, to reach the second-floor balcony of Mandy's room.

However, just as he was about to pull the sliding door open to enter, he heard Mandy talking on the phone.

“Mrs. Larkin, please don't refuse it anymore. I'll have someone deliver it to you tomorrow. Besides, I've already bought it. If you turn it down, I won't know who else to give it to! It's no big deal. Compared to Finnegan curing my grandpa, this is insignificant.”

After listening outside for a while, Finnegan turned around with an exasperated expression and jumped off the balcony.

As the Langdon family's bodyguards curiously wondered what he was up to, he entered the mansion through the main entrance. He found a cucumber in the kitchen, peeled it, and wrapped it in cling film before heading to the second floor.

Mandy, who was on the phone with Quiana, turned around when she heard the noise, her beautiful eyes narrowing slightly.

“No...”
