“Anthony…” Charlotte just smiled, poking his chest with her finger, her voice light and lazy. “Do you have any shame left at all?”

Anthony laughed and caught her finger in his hand, suddenly serious. “Lottie, let’s get one thing straight.”

“Last night… it was you who came after me.”
