Sterling stepped forward, staring down at Lydia in her comatose state. Her entire face was swollen, her mouth hanging open unconsciously as she struggled for air.
"Who gave her mango?"
With just one glance, he identified the exact trigger.
"I don't know! She was fine just a second ago, and then this happened! Lydia, please be okay..."
Sasha sobbed, desperately trying to wake her.
"Sterls, we can't delay this any longer. Get her to The Wellness Center!"
Frantic, Leon pulled Sasha away, gesturing for Sterling to pick Lydia up.
Separated by the door, Elena could only see fragments of shadows through the narrow crack.
She had no idea what had happened to make Lydia suddenly collapse.
All she knew was that the boy had arrived and was standing just a few feet away.
"No... wait! I'm still in here! If you don't need me, at least unlock the door first—"
Watching him lean down to scoop Lydia into his arms and begin walking away.
Elena finally snapped out of her daze and started yelling.
She completely understood that Lydia's condition was critical and that every second counted.
But just in case, she needed to remind him she existed so she wouldn't be left trapped in The Archives!
"Babe... Sterling... Are you listening?"
Despite her relentless shouting, she realized he wasn't slowing down at all.
In a panic, Elena raised both hands and slammed them hard against the door.
"Ah! Ouch, ouch, ouch!"
