Elena hated the total dominance of this position.
Especially the way his hard body pressed flush against her back, transmitting his scorching heat right through the thin fabric of her uniform.
He must have been chain-smoking lately, as the heavy scent of tobacco rolled off him.
She had assumed that playing the Sterling card would suppress his hostility and make him think twice.
"Heh."
Instead, a low, dark chuckle slipped from Xavier's lips.
In the silent, pitch-black dryness of the archives, Elena's heart hammered against her ribs as a wave of pure terror washed over her.
"If you really were his girlfriend, of course I wouldn't touch you."
The man drawled, freeing one hand to trace a path down from her cheek, dragging a slow line all the way down her body.
Finally, his hand came to rest at the hem of her uniform skirt. He effortlessly hitched it up, exposing the smooth skin of her thigh.
Since she was facing away, she couldn't see the monstrous hunger drowning the eyes of the devil behind her.
He was clearly starved, and he had absolutely zero intention of letting her go tonight. He was going to devour her whole!
"But babe, are you?"
When he spoke again, he bit down lightly on her earlobe.
"Babe, you're still so sensitive..."
Watching her body tremble, a satisfied smirk curled on his handsome, ruthless face. "I'm guessing Sterls hasn't touched you yet, has he?"
In a split second, Elena's fingers curled inward, forming a tight fist. She fought down her surging emotions, forcing herself to sound nonchalant. "...What do you mean?"
"I have to admit, you and Sterls put on a hell of a show. For a few days there... I actually believed you two were a couple."
Xavier spoke at a leisurely pace, his tone laced with his usual arrogance. "But who do you think means more to him... me, or you?"
