The Moment I Stepped Into His World as the Fake Girlfriend, I Became the Real Prize novel Chapter 35

"Lydia just denied it herself. She never planned on accepting him, yet her friend is out here throwing a massive tantrum. If I didn't know any better, I'd say she's the one trying to secure the bag!"

Seizing the perfect opportunity, Lorelei ruthlessly mocked Sasha, finally venting her pent-up frustration.

"She doesn't even use her brain. Sterling has a girlfriend now. If Lydia actually accepted him today, she'd be the very homewrecker her friend keeps screaming about!"

At the edge of the crowd, Leon Lester stared intently into the Rolls-Royce at the stunningly seductive girl pressed against Sterling. He licked his lips and muttered a low curse under his breath.

"Did Sterls really hire a bottle girl? I'm at Midnight all the time, and I've never seen anyone that insanely hot!"

Liam Lennox furrowed his brow. "Other than Lydia, Sterls has never let a woman get that close to him. Even if they're acting... isn't this taking it a bit too far?"

Jasper Jenson, on the other hand, glanced between the steamy tension inside the car and Lydia standing outside, a smirk playing on his lips as things finally started getting interesting.

"Why don't we take a guess on whether Sterling will actually let Lydia apologize or not?"

Hearing this, Leon and Liam shot him looks of pure confusion.

Wasn't Sasha the one who needed to apologize?

"I bet you Lydia will apologize on Sasha's behalf."

Jasper's tone was calm and measured, radiating total confidence. "It's a shame, really. This little acting gig is probably over now."

Of course, there was always the chance of a wild card being thrown into the mix.

With that thought, his gaze drifted back to the supposed bottle girl in the passenger seat.

At that exact moment, Lydia straightened her spine and stepped protectively in front of Sasha. "Sasha has always lacked a filter, but everything she just said was mostly to defend me."

"So, if anyone is going to apologize, it should be me... apologizing for her."

Elena offered a soft smile, not bothered in the slightest. "Sure. I'm an easygoing person. Go ahead and apologize for her. I'm listening."

The entire crowd fell dead silent, their eyes glued to the unfolding drama.
