Noah raised an eyebrow, looking surprised.
Clara hesitated. "Me?"
"What are you afraid of? With a face like yours, you just have to sit there and you'll be a viewer magnet."
About six months ago, Simon had lost his voice and couldn't stream, so he had begged Clara to bring him medicine.
At the time, there were nearly ten thousand people waiting in the stream. Desperate, Simon had pulled Clara in front of the camera to hold the fort.
She wasn't wearing any makeup, so Simon had quickly applied a coat of vintage red lipstick. She just sat there quietly, barely speaking, occasionally offering a small smile.
The comments section went wild.
The screen was flooded with comments like: [Who is this gorgeous?], [This is criminal beauty!], and [I need this woman's entire biography in three minutes!].
Even though Simon was basically mute that day, his sales tripled.
His DMs were exploding with people asking, "Does that girl have an account?"
"I think it's viable," Noah said.
Simon got more excited as he spoke. "You could be a beauty influencer or an emotional advice guru. You’ll definitely go viral. Once we make money, we’ll run away with the bump, hire ten male models, and annoy Rhys to death!"
Clara laughed, touching her face.
She hadn't slept well lately; her skin was a bit dry, and there were dark circles under her eyes.
"Is my face even presentable right now?"
Noah looked up at her.
It was more than presentable.
Even pale and sickly, her beauty was striking—breathtaking enough to make it hard to look away.
Simon clicked his tongue. "Presentable? It's incredible! If you’re willing to show your face, you wouldn't even need to talk. You could just sit there reading the phone book, and people would still buy you a yacht!"
Clara thought about it. It wasn't a bad idea.
No sales pitching, just chatting or reading books.
She could treat it as prenatal education for the baby.
She agreed. "Okay. I’ll set up a new account. I’ll borrow the equipment from you, and once I make money, I’ll pay you back with interest."
Seeing her treat this so formally made Simon’s heart ache again.
