The Omega and The Arrogant Alpha (by Kylie) novel Chapter 101

Chapter 101

I stared in shock at this creature that was clawing at me through the bars of his cage and I still couldn’t figure out what the hell it was. I couldn’t figure out where it came from or what it was doing here. I didn’t even know what it was. It was something that wasn’t known to the supernatural community and those razor sharp teeth all around his mouth were very menacing.

“You weren’t supposed to come down here.” Logan said, behind me.

I turned around quickly to look at him and he was standing back casually looking at us.

“What the fuck is this thing?” I asked.

“I don’t know. We don’t have a name for it.” He said.

“Well, that’s not good enough. Where did you find it?” I asked.

“In the woods. This was just the one that we could catch.” He said.

“Are you saying that there are more of these things out there?” I asked.

“Yeah. Dad knew that they were there. Never told me. We found them on our own and caught this one.” He said.

I looked at Logan for a moment and then back at this creature.

“Wait a minute…” I started to say.

“I knew it wouldn’t take you long to figure it out.” He said.

“They’re the ones that are killing the humans.” I said. And he nodded his head. “Why the hell are you taking the blame for it? Why the hell don’t you tell people, show people, what is really doing it?” I asked.

“Because dad kept these things a secret for a reason. And I need to know why.” He said.

“Is that why you faked your father’s death?” I asked, and he looked at me suspiciously. “My mother has seen him wandering around.” I added.

“Well, yeah. I need to know what he knows. But he won’t tell me. Honestly, I don’t think even he knows. But he kept them a secret so people wouldn’t come too close to our pack. I believe that he had our best interest at heart.” He said.

“Bullshit. All your father and grandfather cared about was themselves. You need to let people see this so they know that you’re not the one killing people.” I said.

“I can’t.” He said.

“Why the fuck not?” I asked.

“Because the pack doesn’t know. They’re going to hate me for keeping this from them.” He said.

“He can’t get out of the cage.” I said.

“Morgan. What do you expect me to do? No one is going to be able to handle a whole pack of these things.” Logan said.

“You rally the fucking troops. You show them what they are facing and you stop them before they can kill any more humans.” I yelled.

“What troops?” He asked.

“You recruit and make allies with other packs.” I said.

“None of the other packs like me. They aren’t going to help me with this.” He said.

“Really? Is that because you’ve had this thing captive and made everyone believe that you’re killing innocents instead of these things?” I asked.

“They hated me before that.” He said.

“Everyone hated you before that.” I said.

“Well, there’s nothing I can do about it now. They all think I’m a killer and they brought you here to get rid of me.” Logan said. So I walked over to him and got right in his face.
