Chapter 123
MORGAN POV
As soon as I was brought to a very intricate cave system, I was taking out the back where torches were lit and another creature that was bigger than the others was sitting on a stone throne of sorts at the back of the room with a woman sitting on the ground in front of him in her underwear crying with a chain around her neck.
She was a human and she was pleading for her life. I had a quick look around to see if there was any other humans around but I couldn’t see any. I don’t know if they had a stock pile of humans ready for when the master wanted to eat or if they would go out and hunt a fresh one whenever he wanted one
I just new that I felt extremely sorry for the woman and I knew that I had to get her out of here. She didn’t seem that much older than me. And I have a feeling that’s the type of person that he liked.
“Morgan. I was starting to think that I was never going to get to meet you.” It said, smiling at me.
“Why don’t you let the girl go and we can talk. Just the two of us.” I said.
“But this is my dinner.” He said.
“No. The one that you ate last night was your last meal. Let the girl go.” I demanded.
“You can’t come into my home and give me orders.” He said.
“No. But I can turn around and walk away. Killing as many of these minions of yours as I possibly want.” I said.
He sat there glaring at me as he leaned back in his chair while he ran his fingers along his chin showing off his really long, sharp fingernails. A smirk crept across his face and his minions all started snickering.
I turned around to see what they were chuckling at, but they were just looking at their master and what I guess they thought was an intimidation tactic.
“Yeah. I’ve got some of those too.” I said, extending my claws on both hands and raising them up to show him.
The woman then looked even more scared but I just looked at her and winked. To let her know that I wasn’t going to hurt her.
“Wow. Those are impressive.” He said.
*
“Yeah. Now the question is, do you die the same way all of your minións die? And, do they die when you die?” I asked.
“Why would I answer those sorts of questions for you?” He asked So I shrugged.
“I don’t know. I guess I was just hoping that you were going to be a good sport about it. I guess I was wrong.” I said.
“Yeah. I guess you were.” He said. And I took a step closer to him and the woman tried to back away from both of us and against the wall that was behind her, “You’re scaring my dinner.” He said.
“Then let her go.” I said, talking to him like he was an idiot instead of me.
“I heard you had a mouth on you. I’m glad that you’re not disappointing.” He said.
“No. I’m just not scared of you.” I said. And he started chuckling.
“You really should be.” He said.

“That’s funny. Because I was going to say the same thing about you.” I said.
“What?” He asked, confused.
I turned around to look at his minions and I opened my backpack and threw it on the ground in the middle of the cave, in the middle of his minions and bags of my synthetic blood exploded everywhere. All over the minions and I even got a little on myself as well.
But I turned back around and the master was hiding behind his chair so he didn’t get any on himself.
His minions started screaming and writhing in pain as he came back out from behind his chair.
“I thought we should make this an even fight.” I said.
“I thought you would have had your wolves come with you.” He said.
“Oh no. This is between you and me.” I said. And he smiled at me again.
He didn’t even seem to care that his minions were on the ground screaming. Begging for their master to help them take the pain away.
“I can take their pain away, if you really want me to.” I said.
“They’re weak. But your blood won’t kill them. It just weakens them.” He said.
So I grabbed a large blade out from the back of my pants. It wasn’t silver so I didn’t have to worry about it hurting and I started moving faster than the speed of light, beheading every one of his minions that were on the
ground in pain.
I ended up on the other side of the cave as the master stood next to his chair, watching as I killed the remaining minions that he had. He knew that he was alone now. I had no doubt that he could tell they were all dead. We took care of the ones in the woods and I took care of the ones in the cave.
“You really have grown up. You weren’t like that five years ago.” He said.
“A lot has changed in five years.” I said. And he grabbed the chain that was around the woman’s neck and he pulled her closer to him and forced her in front of him so I couldn’t get near him.
