Chapter 129
I just wanted someone to pay for this and they were going to. No matter how many rocks I had to turn over in order to find the bastards, I was prepared to do that.
Those vampires never hurt anyone. But some people hear vampire and just automatically think they are evil. They can kiss my ass.
Maddy and I were talking in the dining room for a while when I heard someone started running down the stairs and I could hear the panic in her voice as she came running to the dining room.
“You put Savannah to bed, didn’t you?” Paisley asked.
“Yeah. She was sound asleep when I left. Why?” I asked.
“She’s not in her cot.” Paisley said.
So I jumped up from my seat and I ran to the living room where Ezra was playing with Aiden.
“Did you take Savannah?” I asked.
“No. Why?” Ezra asked.
“She’s not in her cot. I put her to sleep. She can’t climb out of that thing. She can’t walk yet.” I said.
So I ran upstairs and I searched all around our bedroom and I ordered the warriors to lock down the border. No one in or out until we found her.
We started running all the way through the house, checking every room, checking under every single piece of furniture.
There was a scent in the bedroom, but I didn’t recognise it. Ezra went in there to look around and he came out with a strange look on his face.
“The scent is human.” He said.
“How the fuck would a human get in to our bedroom on the fourth floor?” I asked.
“I don’t know. But they did. They took her.” Ezra said.
“No. They didn’t take my baby. They aren’t getting my fucking baby.” I yelled, running from the room and I ran down the stairs and straight out of the packhouse.
I ran towards the woods and I ran at superhuman speed until I got to the border. None of the warriors had seen anything out of the ordinary. No one coming in or going out,
So I started running the border myself until I finally came to an area that wasn’t being guarded by anyone. I called the head warrior to where I was and I demanded to know who was in charge of this section.
He told me that there were two guards that are meant to be here, but he doesn’t know why they’re not. And I order him to find them.

I picked up the faint scent of that human and I started running through the woods, over the border and into the forest on the other side.
Ezra caught up to me pretty quickly and we followed the scent until we reached the road and we lost the scent completely.

“They had a car waiting.” Ezra said.
“Savannah.” I said.
Ezra caught me just before I hit the ground and I started crying in his arms, knowing that she was gone and we had no clue who would have taken her.
Ezra tried to comfort me as much as possible, but he knew that it was almost impossible. I was inconsolable. But I could feel that he was feeling the same way. He just wasn’t showing it because he was trying to be strong for me.
My baby girl was gone.
Ezra took me back towards the pack and the head warrior had the two warriors that weren’t at the guard and they both looked extremely guilty and extremely sorry for what they did.
“Where were you?” Ezra asked.
“We were checking on something that looked suspicious further down the border.” One of them said.
“Throw them in the dungeon.” I ordered.
They both looked up at me, really shocked and scared, but I didn’t care. Because they weren’t where they were supposed to be, my baby girl was gone.
Ezra did everything he did to comfort me. He told me all of the actions that he was going to take to find Savannah, but I think I was in too much shock at the moment to really function properly. I just nodded my head.
