Occasionally, when Yvonne glanced his way, he offered her a faint, indulgent smile.

A new round started, and a card was dealt right in front of Claire.

“It's your turn, Claire. Don't be nervous, we're all just having fun,” Yvonne coaxed sweetly.

Claire reached out to flip her card.

The girl next to her, Daisy, conveniently knocked over a glass, spilling half a drink right onto Claire's dress.

“Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to!”

Claire pulled a tissue from the box and methodically dabbed at the wet stain on her dress.

“We've played so many rounds. How about we make things a little spicier?” Daisy eagerly suggested.

The group's curiosity peaked. “Spicier? Like what?”
