The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 128

She had read them like an open book.

Stella let out a derisive scoff. "So, what you're trying to say is, if I want to live, I need to remarry you. Is that it?"

"Exactly!"

Just saying the word 'remarry' made Julian grind his teeth in fury.

Stella replied softly, "But do you want to live?"

Her voice was light, carrying a faint, chilling amusement.

Julian panicked.

Sitting in Lawrence's office, all the color instantly drained from his face.

He immediately looked up at his brother.

Lawrence's brow furrowed, and a barely contained murderous intent flashed in his eyes.

This woman...

Did she have any idea what kind of danger she was in? Did she actually think the Vances would show her mercy?

She wasn't the beloved future bride of the Vance family anymore!

When Julian remained silent, Stella's laugh grew bolder.

"I guess you really don't value your life!"

Julian was speechless.

"You actually have the audacity to bring up remarrying me! How many bones do I need to break before you stop trying to disgust me?"

Julian inhaled sharply.

Disgusting!

She had just called him disgusting!

That ungrateful bitch...

"I'm disgusting? Then why did you marry me three years ago? You sacrificed everything to..."

"I was suffering from Spiritual Amnesia. Couldn't you tell? With my standards, do you honestly think I'd ever look twice at trash like you?"

Julian felt like he had been struck by lightning.

Her vicious, unapologetic insult made him feel like he was going to pass out from anger.

She called him trash? What the hell was she?

Even with Lawrence sitting right across from him, glaring daggers to keep him in line, Julian couldn't take it anymore. He slammed the phone down.

"You saw that, Lawrence! She won't let me get a single word in!"

That psycho wouldn't even give him a chance to coax her. Before he could even try, she had verbally eviscerated him.

Lawrence frowned, shooting him a cold look.

"Who the hell is this sugar daddy, anyway? How is she this arrogant?!" Julian seethed.

She had torn apart the Sinclairs, crushed the Sloanes, and even destroyed the Fitzgeralds' cryo-chamber!

She had offended half the city's power players in two days.

Julian was burning with curiosity about who this mysterious backer was.

And so was Lawrence.

But Lawrence merely scoffed. "Playing the perfect housewife for three years must have rotted her brain. She isn't even afraid of the Vances!"

"Lawrence, you..."
