Immediately after, an agonizing pain shot from his wrist straight to his heart. Valerie felt like his soul was being ripped apart.
"Ahhh—!" A bloodcurdling scream echoed through the hospital room.
His vision went completely black!
Stella tossed his hand aside in disgust. "Well, this is quite inconvenient. Both your hands are crippled now. How are you supposed to sign?"
Valerie choked on a sob.
Asher remained silent.
The lawyer was speechless.
Stella stood up and glanced at Asher. "Give him a hand. We can't have me wasting a trip out here."
"Understood."
Asher nodded. He and the lawyer stepped forward. One held the transfer documents, and the other held a pen.
The moment Asher forcefully shoved the pen into Valerie's freshly shattered hand, Valerie screamed again.
"Ahhh! What are you doing?! Let me go!"
His hand was completely destroyed!
The very next second, his hand was violently guided across the paper, forcing his signature onto the documents.
He tried to thrash and resist, but with both hands crippled, he was completely helpless!
The signature was forced.
And they forcefully pressed his thumbprint onto the paper as well!
Asher handed the signed documents to Stella. She glanced at them and remarked, "It seems the injury isn't that severe. The signature is actually quite legible."
Valerie gasped for air.
That vicious bitch! He couldn't even twitch his fingers without blinding pain, and she was saying it wasn't severe?
She should have just killed him!
Stella handed the documents back to the lawyer. "Process these."
"Right away."
The lawyer took the papers.
Pale and trembling, Valerie forced the words through chattering teeth. "T-That doesn't count."
He had been physically forced to sign!
A signature like that held no legal weight...
Stella stepped forward and grabbed his jaw in a vice grip. Valerie shrieked again.
He felt like his jawbone was going to shatter!
Stella sneered, "Beatrice really spoiled you, didn't she? She raised you to be as stupid as a pig!"
It didn't count?
"Take a good look at who actually runs the Channing Group right now. If a signature I demand doesn't count, then whose does?"
Valerie's eyes widened in horror.
Who runs the Channing Group?
Hearing that, the last remaining trace of color vanished from his face.
"Y-The company..."
Had she actually taken it back? How was that possible? Their father was still the Chairman.
