The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 150

If she dared to act this recklessly... it meant this man's identity was far from ordinary.

Damn it...

That wretched woman!

"So... am I still supposed to bring her back to the Sinclair estate?"

Julian asked through gritted teeth.

She had found herself such a handsome sugar daddy. Her heart was probably entirely wrapped up in this man now.

Would she even agree to come back?

That despicable woman! How had he never noticed how completely shameless she was?

For three years at the Sinclair estate, he thought she was actually devoted to him!

Lawrence snapped, "Of course you are! If she doesn't come back, Sinclair Group is finished!"

Julian went quiet.

Hearing this only fueled his rage!

But remembering that all of Sinclair Group's projects were currently at a standstill, he knew that if they didn't beg Stella to return, the investors would bail.

Most of their partners were only working with them out of respect for Stella's late grandparents.

If those partners pulled out, the Sinclairs would be staring down the barrel of the exact same bankruptcy crisis they faced three years ago.

"You don't want us to go bankrupt again, do you?"

Lawrence shot Julian a piercing glare.

At the word 'bankrupt', Julian's chest seized!

Bankruptcy...

No, he definitely didn't want that. He couldn't afford that.

If they went bankrupt now, the entire family would blame it on him divorcing Stella.

Their grandfather would literally beat him to death!

The very thought made the wounds on his back throb violently...

...

Back at the cafe.

Stella patted the muscle on Yvonne's arm. "So solid!"

Yvonne smirked. "Come with me to Easton Isle for six months, and I guarantee you'll be built like a tank."

"No thanks! Sebastian wouldn't like me being rock hard everywhere."

Yvonne raised an eyebrow.

What was this?

First she was obsessively in love with Julian, and now she was head over heels for Sebastian?

But looking at her expression... delivering such a romantic line with a completely deadpan face?

*Bzzzt, bzzzt.* Stella's phone vibrated.

It was an unknown number. She glanced at it and answered. "Hello."

"I'm breaking up with Ivy."

Julian's voice filtered through the speaker, tight with suppressed anger.

Stella scoffed. "You're breaking up with Ivy? More like she's already dumping you."

"You're completely broke now. Did you really think Ivy was just in it for your pretty face?"

Two sentences!
