Elder Vance hummed in approval.
He closed his eyes, thoroughly enjoying Stella's shoulder massage. "Make the scene a bit bigger. Let's have some real excitement."
"Understood. Whatever you say, Elder Vance."
After leaving the study, Sebastian didn't go far. He waited right outside.
Downstairs, Giselle couldn't shake her worry. After agonizing over it, she came upstairs to check.
She found Sebastian standing by the door.
Her heart tightened, and she approached. "What's the situation?"
Was he really okay leaving the little thing alone with Grandpa?
"I got kicked out!" Sebastian said.
"And you actually listened? Don't you know Grandpa keeps some highly lethal collectibles in his study?"
The old man had a penchant for collecting firearms.
If the little thing said the wrong word, he might just casually grab one!
Furthermore...
The little thing had a venomous tongue.
She worried that Stella had been acting so ruthless with the Sinclairs and Channings lately that she might forget to filter her words at the Vance estate.
Hearing this, Sebastian's face stiffened.
Before he could react, Giselle was already pressing her face against the door crack, trying to peek inside. But the door seal was too tight.
With no other choice, she carefully pushed it open just a sliver...
The moment she got a clear view of the scene inside.
Sebastian's head appeared right above hers!
Following the old man's orders, the butler brought a tray of fruit for Stella and saw Sebastian and Giselle plastered against the study door, peeping inside.
The butler was speechless.
They really didn't need to worry!
Over the past two years, the old man had consulted countless high monks, and they all said Little Star was suffering from Spiritual Amnesia.
Since she couldn't control the Spiritual Amnesia, the old man would never blame her!
"This little thing is good," Giselle whispered. "She sweet-talked you, and now she's sweet-talked Grandpa."
How many minutes had it been?
And the Sinclairs were actually hoping the old man would help them punish her?!
Giselle couldn't help but scoff. "To think they went through all that effort to send proof of her with an old man. What a bunch of idiots wasting their energy."
"Old man?"
Sebastian frowned, his tone dangerous.
"I wasn't talking about you. Lawrence had someone snap a picture of her hugging her aunt and sent it to the butler."
"That moron actually thought a hug with her aunt was an affair with a man!"
Sebastian remained silent.
