The parasitic soul had left behind plenty of memories, but it knew nothing about business.
However, those memories were highly useful to Stella now...
She was going to use that knowledge to ensure the Sinclairs fell exactly the way her five hundred million had propped them up!
Hearing the sharp, ruthless edge in her daughter's voice, Regina finally felt a sense of familiarity.
Over the past three years, they had spoken a few times, but Stella had always been a weeping, miserable mess, giving Regina a massive headache.
Now, listening to her merciless strike against the Sinclairs,
Regina's tone lightened considerably. "Done."
Though doing so would cause her to incur some financial losses as well,
it was nothing compared to making her darling daughter happy.
The call ended.
A satisfied smile played on Regina's lips. She took a sip of her wine, the pent-up frustration of the last three years finally dissipating.
She waved over her assistant, Eric.
Eric stepped forward respectfully. "Yes, Ms. Sterling?"
"My little girl wants to divorce that trash Julian. Have Felicia go to the city personally to keep an eye on her. Don't let those garbage people lay a finger on her."
Hearing it was about Stella, Eric looked confused. "Does Ms. Channing really need our help?"
He knew exactly how pathetic Stella had been these past three years.
But in his mind, if she wanted a divorce, she definitely wasn't acting pathetic anymore.
Her subservience at the Sinclairs was purely because she had been madly in love with Julian.
Thinking of the phrase "madly in love," Eric felt even more bewildered. Stella had always been close with Sebastian Vance, so how did she suddenly fall head over heels for a loser like Julian?
"A single person can't fight a pack of wolves. No matter how tough she acts, she's still just one girl," Regina said.
The fact that her little one had called her proved she knew this too. Smart girl!
Eric nodded. "Understood. Should we pass the news to Bash?"
Sebastian Vance, better known as Bash.
