Xander nodded. "Yeah, I'm recording right now."

"You two..."

Vincent stared in disbelief at Xander and Beatrice.

Since yesterday, Beatrice had dropped all pretense in front of him.

When his parents were alive, he at least saw a glimmer of hope.

No matter what, he was still their son! But with Stella, things were entirely different.

She had always been ice-cold to him!

She had always assumed that when his parents passed, they would leave a chunk of the estate to him.

Beatrice shot back, "Just admit it. Stella was right. You're nothing but a useless coward!"

Vincent was rendered speechless.

"Mom, just drop it," Xander interjected.

It wasn't that she was defending her father; it was just that right now, they needed to focus on squeezing some cash out of Stella.

With Xander intervening, Beatrice finally stopped shouting at Vincent and urged, "Hurry up and record."

"I'm on it!"

Xander pulled out eye drops and squeezed them generously into her eyes.

Once her face was sufficiently soaked with 'tears', she opened the camera app to start recording.

But before she could even hit record, a loud BAM shattered the silence as the hospital door was violently kicked open. The door smashed against the wall with a deafening crash, causing her phone to slip from her hands and clatter onto the floor.

Beatrice and Vincent violently jolted in shock!

All three of their heads snapped toward the door!

When they saw Asher walking in with a team of men, their hearts instantly leaped into their throats.

Having witnessed Asher's ruthless methods before, Beatrice and Xander immediately turned pale.
