The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 26

Stella asked, "How has he been all these years?"

Over the past three years.

That parasitic soul had focused all its energy on Julian, practically wiping away all memory of Sebastian.

Clearly, since Sebastian left, they hadn't spoken once.

Holly replied, "The first year he left for the US, he absolutely tore through the underground circuits. Now, he controls the entire munitions market over there!"

"Everyone there says a total lunatic has moved in!"

It wasn't just the locals who thought he was unhinged.

When the news reached them back home, even Holly thought Sebastian was taking out all his pent-up fury over Stella on those poor souls.

Holly added, "In just three years, he forced all the established syndicates into a corner. Can you even picture how crazy he acts?"

It wasn't just crazy; he was completely reckless, fighting those syndicates like he had a death wish.

Hearing the phrase 'can you even picture how crazy he acts'... a cold light flickered in Stella's eyes.

"Why? Are you planning to go find him now?" Holly asked when Stella went quiet.

Stella asked, "Go to Thailand?"

Holly warned, "I'm afraid he'll direct all that psychotic energy straight at you."

Stella was silent.

Psychotic energy.

From Holly's brief descriptions, Stella could vividly imagine exactly what kind of madness Sebastian had unleashed.

Before she could respond.

Holly continued, "When he first got to the US, he went through several therapists. Looking at how things are going over there lately, I don't think he's burned off all the rage you caused him."

A therapist had to stay with him for an entire year.

He probably hated her to his very core. The entire Vance family loathed her too.

Long story short, Holly summarized, "I doubt you can rely on him to deal with the Sinclairs."

But who knew...

Back in the day, Sebastian worshipped the ground Stella walked on.

But a man's pride... being ruthlessly dumped and humiliated like that...!

"I don't need to rely on him."
