The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 56

Hearing the dial tone, Beatrice's face drained of all color!

She looked at Vincent, trembling and suffocating. "What do we do? If she takes Xander..."

Vincent, who had heard the phone on speaker, also looked grim. "Stop it. She won't. Xander is still her sister!"

He cut Beatrice off before she could finish.

He said she wouldn't, but deep down, he had absolutely no read on Stella anymore.

Beatrice grew even more frantic. "She will! She has never considered Xander a sister. Didn't you see what she's done to Julian since yesterday?"

Vincent fell completely silent.

Hearing Beatrice's words, a shudder ran through his chest.

Thinking about how Stella had treated Xander and Valerie over the years, she truly never saw them as siblings!

So...!

"I told you not to call her. I told you she wouldn't buy your act."

"Now look what you've done. You've completely pissed her off!"

Vincent clutched his chest, a headache throbbing at his temples.

Beatrice defended herself. "Why do you think I did it? I was just trying to get her to back off from taking the company back so fast."

Even if she was going to take it back, it didn't have to be this rushed, right?

She brought it up yesterday, and expected it handed over today? Who operates like that?

But before Beatrice could even bring the conversation there, Stella hung up.

Beatrice grabbed his arm. "Think of something! You're her father, she has to..."

"Does it look like she treats me like a father?"

Bringing that up only made Vincent angrier!

Stella didn't just disrespect Xander and Valerie; she had never once shown him an ounce of respect as her father.

"Then what are we supposed to do? Xander is in danger with her!"

Thinking about the 'gift' Stella mentioned, she didn't need to guess that it wasn't going to be anything good.

Coupled with the fact that she had beaten multiple Sinclair family members and emptied their estate since yesterday.

She had loved Julian for three years and still treated him like that.

Let alone Xander, someone she had always despised!

Vincent paced. "What do we do, what do we do..."

He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.

He grabbed his phone and called Stella directly. The second it connected, he hissed, "If you don't release Xander right now, I swear I'll call the cops!"
