The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 67

Sebastian stepped out of the car first.

He turned back to look at her, his deep, ink-black eyes still burning with that feral, all-consuming hunger to tear her apart.

Stella's gaze flickered.

Sebastian held his arms open. "Want me to carry you?"

She had married someone else for three years, and yet she was the one harboring a grudge against him.

Stella was speechless.

Before she could process it, he effortlessly scooped her out of the car. "What do you have to be angry about? I'm the one who should be pissed!"

He muttered as he carried her through the front door.

The moment they were inside.

He pinned her down against the sofa. "Three years ago, I really considered killing you!"

Stella remained silent.

The room fell into a heavy quiet.

His warm lips brushed against her ear, his breathing growing increasingly ragged. "I really wanted to kill you!"

If he hadn't left the city.

Watching her act like a lapdog for Julian day after day, he genuinely would have slaughtered both her and Julian in cold blood.

Stella whispered, "Then why didn't..."

"Don't you know your own condition? Are you really trying to provoke me right now?"

Stella stared at him.

Her own condition?

What did he mean by that...

Sebastian tore her jacket off with one hand. "In three years, he didn't lay a finger on you, did he?"

"He didn't."

Lost in thought, Stella blurted the words out automatically.

The moment the words left her mouth!

His entire body went completely rigid.

The dark, freezing eyes that had glared at her the entire ride suddenly ignited into a roaring inferno.

Stella frowned. "You don't believe me?"

The words had barely left her lips.

When he completely stripped the jacket off her shoulders.

Stella gasped, "You..."

"For three years, did you throw yourself at him over and over again?"

Him—Julian!

If mentioning her throwing herself at him was bad enough, hearing him say it made the air around Stella drop to absolute zero!

And Sebastian looked like a rabid beast ready to rip Julian's throat out.

"I absolutely did not!"

Stella snapped, her voice dripping with venom.
