"He's already in the hospital! Isn't that enough?!"
Listening to her dismissive tone, Vincent finally roared in absolute fury!
Did she even know what she'd done? Had she bothered to ask the doctors what she had reduced Valerie's hand to?
Just thinking about the doctors' final verdict tore at Vincent's heart!
Valerie loved racing cars so much, but now, even if that hand healed, he would never be able to exert force with it again.
Stella was far too vicious...
How was this any different from ruining half his life?
Stella looked up, raising an eyebrow at him, and casually replied, "Going to the hospital is enough? Do you hear the nonsense coming out of your mouth?"
"You ruined half his life!"
Crippling his hand—what was that if not ruining his life?
The smile on Stella's lips turned downright predatory. "What's half his life? Even if I took the whole thing, he'd deserve it."
That single phrase—'deserve it'!
It finally made Vincent and Beatrice see past the illusion. The vengeful, ruthless girl from three years ago was standing right in front of them.
She had played gentle for three years.
But now, it was as if a wild wolf lived inside her bones, breaking free from its cage, baring its fangs, and lunging straight for their throats.
"You..." Vincent gasped.
His chest heaved violently, and his vision went black.
His legs gave out, and he collapsed onto the sofa opposite Stella.
Seeing Vincent in such a state, Beatrice trembled and turned to Stella. "Stella, what exactly have I done to wrong you? Why are you doing this to my children and me!"
All the way back, she had kept telling herself to endure it.
But faced with Stella's blatant suppression, she could no longer hold back her fury.
"I believe I've spent all these years trying to build a good relationship with you. I always taught Xander and Valerie to care for you as their sister. How could you treat us like this?"
"You say Valerie and Xander wanted you dead? When did they ever try to kill you?"
"Yes, Valerie started the fire yesterday! But wasn't he forced into it by you? He only did something that stupid because you kidnapped Xander!"
Driven to the edge, Beatrice broke down sobbing.
As soon as she finished, another massive crash echoed as a pile of belongings was hurled down, landing right at her feet.
Beatrice flinched. "!!!"
Seeing her designer bags and jewelry tossed on the floor like garbage, she was so furious she nearly passed out.
"You... Stella Channing, you..."
Staring at the absolute mess before her.
Standing amidst the scattered debris, Beatrice looked incredibly pathetic.
