It’s finally the day of Piper’s Luna ceremony. I’m not sure who is more excited, her or me. I will finally, finally have my mate and Luna officially instated in the pack.

Quirin, Kennedy and their pack of pups arrived last night, causing the decibel level in my pack to double. I’m pretty sure that they are feeding off the positive energy in our pack. Everyone is excited to accept Piper as their Luna.

Warren and Yara arrived at breakfast and the rest of the family will arrive at lunch time. There’s not enough room for all of them on the Alpha floor, so I had Dallas talk to Nicolette about having the overflow stay on their floor.

Since Philip has gotten close to Quilla and Quinlee, he pleaded with her to allow them to stay on that floor with them. I called Yara, to make sure that a bunch of pups running around on the Beta floor wouldn’t impact Nicolette’s healing. According to Yara, pups are food for the soul, so she should be fine. Since I’d like her to stay close, just in case, I put Yara and Warren on the Beta floor as well. Beta Savannah is already there with Beta Franklin, but having three doctors and nurses surrounding Nicolette will keep me from worrying about her.

That leaves Dad and Farrah, Yorick, Cyra, and Cyrus, Connor, Madison, and their brood, Yana, Wade, and Yvonne on our floor. It’s going to be crowded, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. All of Piper’s friends fromthe Academy are staying on the Gamma floor, so it’s a ful house.

Piper refused to let me see her dress before the ceremony, but based on the excitement she’s feeling about me seeing it for the first time, I know I’m going to love it. I need to remember to ask her if she cares if I destroy it. I know I’ll want to rip it off of her tonight when we finally get a chance to celebrate in our room.

The only thing 1 got from her was the color so I could make sure that I have a tie to match. It’s not necessary and not every Alpha matches their Luna during her ceremony, but in this pack, I want Piper and I to always be seen as partners.

In the early afternoon, the women drag Piper away to help her get ready. Gavin and I walk outside to make sure that everything is ready for tonight.

“Alright, now that she’s busy, let’s see it,” Q says, striding up to us.

“See what?” I ask with mock innocence.

“You know what. There’s no way you suggested that training center to Yorick without building one for Piper.”

“I don’t know, Q. I don’t think it’s right that you get to see it before she does.”

Since my brother knows me well, he looks at Gavin. “Have you seen it?””Yeah. It’s AWESOME!” Gavin says. The entire pack has seen it and like the good pack that they are, they’ve kept it a secret from Piper:

Quirin narrows his eyes at me. “You can show me, or I’ll go find it on my own.”

I laugh. “Come on.”

“Can we come too?” Wendy asks. I was surprised when she called to ask if Hacker could come as her date to Piper’s Luna ceremony. When she told me Warren said it was okay, I didn’t have any reason to say no.

“Yeah, I want to see this training facility too,

” Connor says, appearing out of nowhere.

“Where did you all come from?” I ask as Wade, Yana, and Yvonne walk out with Yorick.

“We came to see if you needed any help. We know you want tonight to be perfect for Piper,” Yana says.

“Alright then, let’s go,” I say.

“Wait for me,” Warren says, jogging up.

“Anyone else?” I call out, making everyone laugh.

“We’re coming,” Dallas says, walking out of the packhouse with Philip on his shoulders.

“Where’s Nicolette?” I ask.”Mom, Luna Kennedy, and Luna Yara dragged her along to help Piper get ready.”

“How many women does it take to get my mate ready?”

“I think most of them are there for the champagne and to see your lovely mate all dressed up,” Zach says, coming up with Chase and Landon.

“That’s why Lila is up there. She described it as a bonding thing,” Landon says.

We hear cheering coming from the Alpha floor and I look up to see a bunch of women in my bedroom clapping and cheering

Everything okay up there?’ I ask in the mind link.

“I just showed them the dress, Piper says. I can hear and feel her happiness through the bond. ‘Apparently, you’re going to swallow your tongue, spontaneously combust, rip my clothes off in front of everyone, or possibly faint.’

I laugh out loud. ‘I can’t wait to see it on you. Even more, I can’t wait to take it off of you later, I growl before turning my attention back to the group. Most of the men whose mates are upstairs with mine are smiling and refocusing too.

“Okay, let’s go,” I say, taking my entourage to the new training facility.

When we turn a corner, bringing the new building into view, everyone whistles.”I’d ask how you kept her fröm finding out, but having her. in school all week had to be extremely advantageous,” Connor says.

“It was and it also gave my pack members the chance to work twenty-four hours a day during the week so it could get done. When she was home last weekend, they spent their time setting up the equipment,” I tell them, carefully removing the bow from the front doors.

When we step inside, I smile with pride. The pack outdid themselves to get this gift ready for their Luna. The entire pack participated. Even the pups helped by carrying tools to the workers or bringing water and food during breaks.

I go to the edge of the stage and hold out my hand to her.

She reaches up, taking my hand and smiling a smile that is full of naughty promise. Goddess, I love this woman.

I walk her to the front of the stage. “Are you ready to officially take your place at my side, Piper?”

“Absolutely,” she says.

I don’t turn away from her as I begin. “Pack members, friends, and family, today is a very special day. Today, wecelebrate our Luna as she takes her rightful place at my side and in this pack.”

I smile as the pack begins to howl happily.

My father hands me the ceremonial cup. I take it and I hold out my hand. He waits until the howling dies down, then slices my hand.! let it drip into the cup as I continue to watch my mate.

“Piper Bishop, if you accept me as your Alpha, if you accept your place in this pack as my mate and Luna, say the words to make it so.

She stands tall, her head held high.

“I, Alpha Piper Bishop, accept you, Alpha Henry Bishop, as my mate and Alpha. I accept my place at your side, as your Luna, and as Luna of this pack. I promise to love, honor, and cherish you and this pack for the rest of my days.! will protect you and this pack with my life,” she says, making me growl. She smiles, but continues.

“I will empower the strong and protect the weak. I will be the heart of this pack, filling it with the heartbeat that it cannot survive without.”

I hand her the cup, and she drinks my blood. The bond between us solidifies, strengthening into something even deeper and stronger than it was before.

She holds the cup and I take the ceremonial knife from my father. I slice her palm, and hold it over the cup, lettingher blood drip into the cup and mix with mine.

“Come forward, my pack members. Swear your allegiance to me and your Luna, accept her as your Luna and let our pack become stronger together because this amazing woman has agreed to be mine.”

lick the wound on her hand, then step aside as one-by-one, the pack members come forward and swear their Loyalty and allegiance to me and Piper. With each pack member who accepts her, I feel the strength of our pack increasing. Piper’s power becomes their power, making our entire pack stronger.

When the last person drinks from the cup, I step up beside her again.

“My pack! I give you your Luna, Luna Piper!”

They erupt into cheers, howls, and clapping as I pull this amazing woman to me, taking her mouth in a dominant, possessive kiss, pouring every bit of love and every promise of what I intend to do to her tonight into the kiss.
