Chapter 100

Daniel’s POV

We reached the end of the tunnel and there was nothing but darkness, trees, and an empty road! followed the trail until it came to a stop. I searched the area, and picked up some small shards of glass, from what was likely once a vial. The vial that Mr Robinson had given her, she must have been able to tag the van or vehicle she was placed in. I reached for my earpiece, “Mr Robinson, I have evidence that one of the vials you gave Olivia has been broken. No sign of the contents of the vial, so she must have smashed it on one of their vehicles.”

“That is good news…” There was a pause, before he continued, “Get back here, the tracking system is working. I am tracking them moving down the freeway.”

“We are on our way. We found a survivor, one of Vargas‘ men. Mike and Blank are interrogating him. Gold,

get the vehicles ready. As soon as I am back, we are leaving. I am sure Mike will agree,” I said into the

earpiece.

“I am already ahead of you. Get here quickly. We need to get to her now, before Vargas does something to her. Prez is wounded too, and we have no idea how badly he is wounded,” Gold responded.

I didn’t respond to that. I signaled for Crusher to follow me, before I broke out into a run straight back into the tunnel, knowing Crusher would be right on my heels. It took barely a few minutes to get to Mike and Blank, but we could hear them before we saw them. “Where the fuck have they taken our President and our future treasurer?” Mike growled.

“That little bitch did this to me. You really think I will tell you when I know exactly what Vargas wants to do

to her,” the man hissed.

I growled, throwing my fist forward at him. “Say that about my fiancée again, and I will tear you apart.”

“I’m dying anyway,” he shrugged.

“Yes, but you can have a quick death, or a painful death. It’s your choice. And, you should know that I am called Carnage for a reason. I have torn arms completely off, in defense of my family, over a small fight. Imagine what I would do, to get the woman I love back, to get the woman! want to spend the rest of my life with back in my arms,” I said, as a sadistic smile spread across my face.

My face twisting in a way that even my family have said is an expression of pure evil. Luckily, that side of me only comes out to play when I feel like my family or those I love are in danger. The longer I am away from the one person in this world that keeps that side of me suppressed, the more likely I am to lose complete and utter control, and destroy everything in sight.

The man’s eyes widened, and he gulped in fear. “You are a sadistic bastard, aren’t you?”

I let out a short evil laugh, “And, the one person that calms me down with a single touch, with the soothing sound of her voice, your boss, has taken away from me. These guys won’t help you either. They will leave

me to have fun to carve you up like a Thanksgiving turkey”

I paused watching him gulp, and tremble in fear. I smirked, “Tell us where they are taking her and our President, and I will sticka bullet in your head. But don’t tell us, and I will have our medics keep you alive, until I have rescued my woman, and then I will come back and kill you slowly and painfully.

He gulped again, before rattling off an address. “It’s an abandoned building near an airstrip. He is waiting for a private jet to arrive. You have about four hours before it does arrive. In that time, he plans to break her in at least once, before he takes her to another country and disappears with her”

“What will he do with our President?” Mike asked.

“He wasn’t part of the plan. But, knowing Vargas, he will use your president as a way to keep Olivia under control. She was very determined not to leave your president’s side,” the man replied.

“How well do you know Vargas?” Blank asked.

“I was his second in command. I thought I was his best friend, but he left me behind like I was nothing.” he replied.

“Anything else to add,” I said.

The man shook his head. So, I pulled my handgun from its holster and fired one round into the man’s head. The man died instantly. “Mr Robinson is tracking a vehicle, using the stuff that he gave Olivia. Let’s give him the address we have and see if it is where the vehicle is heading. Gold is getting the vehicles ready so we can move as soon as we are back.” I filled Mike and Blank in.

“Let’s get back then,” Mike said.

We ran back down the tunnel, to the entrance to the warehouse. We quickly climbed the stairs, before rushing out of the warehouse. Gold was looking at an iPad that Mr Robinson was showing him something on it. “Finally, you’re here,” Gold growled.

“Don’t talk to us in that tone. Carnage was scaring the shit out of the man we found. He is dead now, but he gave us this address. Are they heading towards it?” Mike asked, showing the address to Mr Robinson.

“Let me check,” Mr Robinson replied, taking the address and typing on the tablet.

“Let’s load up and get on the road,” Mike yelled.

“I have the wounded going back to the clubhouse, they are taking our dead back there too,” Dad said.

“How many?” I asked.

“Eighteen with minor injuries, and will be okay after treatment. One critical and three with serious injuries. Ten dead,” Dad replied.

“No more dead on our side,” Mike growled, giving me a look.

I knew what that look meant. He wanted me to lose control, to snap and destroy everything in sight. I am close to losing control of my anger. I climbed into an SUV with Gold, and he asked, “Did the guy you
