Chapter 117

Olivia’s POV-

Today is my wedding day, and I have been up since 6am barely containing not only my excitement, but laughter. Daniel and I were told we were not allowed to sleep in the same room as each other.. So, I spent the night back in my bedroom at my dad’s house. Not that stopped Daniel. Part way through the night, there was a light tapping on my bedroom window. It was Daniel, he scaled the house and climbed in through my bedroom window. He was the same as me, unable to sleep without holding the other in their arms. We both needed each other to be able to sleep. At 6am, we woke up, and he shot off back out the window to leave me to get ready for our wedding.

When Daniel left, I went to take a shower. The moment I came out of the shower, I heard a knock on my bedroom door. I quickly dried off and slipped my robe on and headed to answer the door. I found Megan, Katie, and Beth standing there with Lynn. Lynn is the eldest daughter of one of the older knights. She stays out of this life for the most part, but she does do the ladies’ hair and make-up for things like weddings and just general hair dressing. Beth had her arms folded across her chest, a storm brewing in her gaze. I chuckled, “You caught him, didn’t you?”

“What do you think?” she said, raising an eyebrow.

“Well, you did say to get as much sleep as I could. Truth be told, I haven’t been able to sleep without Daniel holding me. He is my safety, and I need that when I am alone in my room,” I

responded.

Beth’s brow furrowed, as Megan gasped, “You struggle being in your own bedroom, even the one

you share with Carnage.”

I nodded, “Especially when I am alone. I guess it is one of the ways my trauma shows. Daniel knows that, and he doesn’t like leaving my side. He hasn’t since well you know what happened.”

I didn’t like bringing it up. But I know that is why Daniel doesn’t like to leave me alone. I also know that since that day, I have had panic attacks. Not many, but the few that I have had one of them was because I got left alone in our bedroom. Daniel had to rush out on a club emergency, and he wanted me to sleep. I woke up and had a full panic attack. My dad got to me first and tried to calm me down, but I didn’t until Daniel’s arms wrapped around me. No one else in the club knew about them aside from Mike, Daniel, my dad and Dragon. They wanted it kept secret. They didn’t want people to think I wasn’t strong enough to be the Treasurer.

Beth’s gaze softened as a wave of understanding washed over her eyes. “Well, enough of that. I see you just got out of the shower. So are you ready to get pampered and get ready for your big

day?”

I nodded, a huge smile spreading across my face. “I was ready the day I met Daniel. I need to text

him quick.” A sly smirk played on my lips.

We agreed we would hide a gift for each other in the rooms that we had to get ready in. So, I hid a gift for him in his boxer shorts drawer in our walk-in wardrobe in our room in the clubhouse. “You

do not need to be texting your husband to be,” Katie said.

I chuckled, “We hid gifts for each other. He is meant to tell me where he hid mine, and need to tell

him where I hid his.”

I picked my phone up and saw he had texted me already. I opened the text message and read it

Daniel: “My beautiful queen, I miss you already. I am so happy that you are becoming my wife today. The first of your many gifts today, is in your bedside drawer. I hope you like it.”

I rushed to my bedside drawer, and opened it. A large velvet necklace box was inside. I pulled it out, and opened the box, as the ladies swarmed around to see what Daniel had gotten me. Inside sat a beautiful emerald necklace with matching earrings. The green was as vibrant as the green in

my eyes.

Me: “The necklace and earrings are beautiful. I love them. Now, for your gift, check in your

underwear drawer. I miss you more.”

I tucked my phone into the pocket of my robe and stood up. “Let’s get ready,” I giggled.

Beth went into full drill sergeant mode. I quickly brushed my hair. She let in a few women, who came in and began giving us pedicures and manicures. While my pedicure was being done, I felt my phone buzz, but was drawn into a conversation about the breakfast shakes that Megan had made for us all. Then another buzz, followed by several more. I could barely contain my laughter at this point. I knew why he was blowing my phone up. I had to see what he was saying.

“Why are you laughing?” Beth asked.

“I think your son and my husband-to-be has found the gifts that I left for him, and now he is blowing up my phone,” I replied, pulling my phone out.

“What did you get him?” Katie asked.

“A set of cufflinks, which I had engraved with his married initials on it. Then Megan helped me with the second gift, which is really for his eyes only. We went shopping and brought a ton of new lingerie, and we came here and did a little photo shoot. We edited them and printed them, before putting them in an album for him,” I explained, as I unlocked my phone to read the messages.

I say married initials because we are changing our last name to Anderson-Phillips.

Daniel: “I am glad you like the jewelry. I wanted you to have something to wear as beautiful as your

green eyes. I found the two things you left. I feel bad I didn’t leave two gifts for you now. I will oper

the small one first.”

Daniel: “I love the cufflinks. I couldn’t decide what ones to wear. It looks like I have my decision.

Now the second one.”

Daniel: “Wow! You are so fucking sexy, my queen.”

Daniel: “Are you trying to give me blue balls before our wedding?”
