Daniel’s POV-

Pulling that trigger and endmg Vargas’ life, made me feel relieved because now no one was going to try and hurt the woman that I love. Olivia is safe. I need her safe. Especially with all the plans that we have for the future. Even more so now that I will be taking over as VP, the moment I get back from my honeymoon. Now, I can focus on Olivia and our wedding. Celebrate our love the way we should.

I sat, holding Olivia’s hand tightly, in the car. We soon arrived back on club lands. We drove straight to the function building, where our wedding reception was being held. Mike stopped the car, and said, “Stay in the car till we have the photographer and your guests ready.”

“We will wait,” I said.

I glanced over to look at Olivia, and she smiled up at me. “How are you feeling, beautiful?”

“I am so happy. We are married now. I am so happy that you are my husband,” she whispered.

“I should have married you the day I met you. I don’t care that we weren’t legally allowed either. You were born to be mine,” I said, pressing a kiss to her lips.

She pulled away with a giggle, “I could say the same about you.”

Then I heard Mike, with the earpiece still in my ear, call out, “Come on, move your fucking ass, I don’t fancy having to tell your VP that he can’t enjoy his wife’s company, which if we don’t get them out of that car in the next thirty seconds, I will have to tell him.”

I chuckled at hearing that. Olivia smirked, “Mike doesn’t think you can wait till tonight?”

I nodded, “Pretty much, and it is true. I can’t wait till tonight. But I will so we can enjoy the celebrations of our nuptials.”

Before she could respond, the car door opened, which made me chuckle. “Looks like this is our queue to get out the car.”

I gave Olivia a quick kiss, before climbing out of the car and turning to help my bride. I helped her out, with Katie standing close by ready to help with Olivia’s dress. We worked well together getting Olivia out of the car. I wrapped my arm around my wife, and guided her into the building. Everyone had already gone in and found their seats, we were greeted with a standing crowd and a round of applause.

We made our rounds thanking everyone for coming, before taking our seats. This was the part we decided to do earlier, because we would be eating and Olivia would be adjusting the dress she was wearing, and then we needed to get ready for our bike ride with the club. It is how we run weddings in the club.

We sat down, and the food was served immediately. Our meal was lively, like any wedding in our club. The food was absolutely delicious. We chose the best caterer in the city. They were incredible. I could see why they were the best.

The moment dessert was finished, it was time for the speeches. Gold was going to go first. Mike handed him a microphone. He loved her so much that he worked out that I might be her father, and, with the help of Mike and Katie, they came to me. His love for her led me to her. As soon as I found out that I had a daughter, Tequldn’t think of a better man to entrust my daughter to. Daniel is perhaps one of the most caring and protective men I know. Seeing how happy they are together, I can’t think of a more perfect couple. So, a toast to the happy couple. Congratulations Olivia and Daniel. That earned a round of chuckles from everyone, because he meant it and they knew he couldn’t stop us even if he wanted to. But everyone raised their glasses to us. I put my glass down and stood up, knowing it was my turn to give a speech. I held my hand out and shook Gold’s hand, and whispered, “Thank you, Gold.

“You are my son-in-law now, we are family,” he replied, handing me the microphone.

I turned to look out at everyone, raised the microphone, and began, “Thank you everyone for coming to celebrate with us, as we take the next step in our lives. A special thank you to everyone who helped make today possible. Ma, you have been the biggest help. Mike, Benny, Megan, and Katie, neither of us could have done this without you beside us. Almost everyone here knows what I am like. I have never been one to give speeches, to talk about my feelings. But since I met Olivia and had to admit my feelings for her, just so I could reunite her with her father, William Anderson, I have changed. My beautiful wife has made me a better man. She would say that I have done so much to help her, but in truth she does so much for me, and she doesn’t even realize how much. Olivia, you are beautiful, caring, protective and brave. You are so perfect for me, my perfect little wife. One day, years from now, you are going to make an amazing mother. I can’t wait for that day because I know you want kids and I want to be the one that will give them to you. Until that day, I am going to love and protect the incredible woman, who made me a better man and our club so much better. I would like everyone to raise your glasses in honor of this incredible woman, my one and only, my wife, Olivia.”

The moment I raised my glass, everyone followed suit, crying out Olivia’s name. I took a sip of my drink and placed it down. I handed the microphone to Mike, and sat down, leaning over to my beautiful wife, and pressing my lips to hers in a passionate kiss, which she returned with the same intensity. I pulled away and saw a single tear run down her cheek, which I quickly wiped away.

Mike cleared his throat, “Save that energy for later, when you can take her to your room.”

That made everyone laugh hard. I rolled my eyes and gave him a look. Mike held his hands up, before turning to face everyone. “Thank you everyone for being here, and I would like to say a big thank you to our club for being incredible in helping make this day possible. A special thanks to the bridesmaids and Beth, the groom’s mother. Now, the first thing I would like to say is a huge thank you to Daniel for allowing me to be up here beside today as his best man. I still don’t think that I deserve to be his best man. I ignored or just didn’t notice how he felt about Olivia. It led to my ex-girlfriend bullying Olivia. Since Daniel openly admitted his feelings, I have seen new sides to him. The very first was a very stunned Daniel. He had just told Olivia who her father was, and she had run from the room to confront her biological mother. Before she left, she had kissed him on his cheek, and that was how I found him, touching his cheek, completely stunned…”

Everyone chuckled, as I nodded, a little embarrassed he was sharing that story. He made me sound like an innocent little virgin. Olivia, though, didn’t know that story, and now she did, she was beaming happily next to me. I guess knowing she had that affect on me made her happy.
