Olivia’s POV-

I am still a little surprised that both Daniel and my dad didn’t argue with me more about facing Vargas. Especially after they knew who it was. Daniel kept me close to him, his arm firmly wrapped around my waist, as we approached Vargas. I kept my expression neutral as I watched Vargas roll on to his back and sit up, lifting his legs around so he could face us. I felt myself cringe, as Vargas’ gaze moved over me.

“Don’t fucking look at her. She is my wife, my woman, and soon enough she will be pregnant with my child,” Daniel growled.

Vargas smirked, “Sorry, she is such a beautiful bride. I always knew she would be.”

“She is my bride, my wife. She will never be yours,” Daniel snarled, his voice dripping with

rage.

Vargas sighed, “It is a shame she would never be mine.”

“After what you did to her, and what you robbed from our club, from my family, you are going to die here today. Then you will be forgotten,” Mike hissed.

“Yes,

I heard your father didn’t make it. You should know I wasn’t the one that shot him, but I did order my men to shoot at him and the others with him as they were stopping me from getting to Olivia,” Vargas said.

“The blame lies with you no matter what you say,” Mike growled.

Vargas nodded, “I guess you are right there. At the time, I only saw my desire to claim Olivia as my wife. I should have realized she would never be mine and stopped before I began. It was clear she was already yours, and I chose to ignore it.”

“Finally learned that I would never be yours, have you?” I said.

“I guess you could say I had to learn it the hard way. When your scumbag biker husband drove a knife into my spine and twisted it,” Vargas spat.

I raised an eyebrow at him, “The only scumbag here is you. My husband never forced me into anything. None of the bikers have ever or would ever force a woman into anything. But here you are, raping, threatening, trying to force a woman into an arranged marriage. Who is really the scumbag?”

“When you put it like that, you will win public opinion, that is for sure. You know, I came here today to try and kill your husband for taking my legs and thus my business, but seeing that

smile on your face as you stood next to him coming out of the cathedral, I don’t know, I guess a part of me realised that I had lost,” Vargas responded.

“You lost the moment you tried to force me into an arranged marriage. You should have left me alone the moment I went to live with my biological dad. Your choices led you to this, to right here. Now, that I look at you, all I see is a pathetic little man, who doesn’t deserve any more of my time or attention,” I said, before turning to look at Daniel. “Can we go, or do you

need to…?”

“Go back to the car, my queen, and I will be there in a moment. When I get there, we are going to forget about him and concentrate on our special day. We will ride together later, dance the night away, and then I am going to make love to you all night long,” Daniel said, loud enough for everyone to hear.

“You better, husband,” I flirted back, grabbing his tie and pulling him in for a quick kiss.

Daniel pulled back with a growl, and whispered, “Get your sexy ass in the car. I am already hard enough thinking about all the things I want to do to you right now.”

I winked at him, before turning to look at Vargas for the final time, and said, “I hope you burn in hell.”

As I turned to walk away, I listened closely to everything that was said. “You are a lucky man

to have her.”

“I know I am a lucky man. But you… your dead man,” Daniel said.

Mike must have handed him a gun, as I heard Daniel say, “Are you sure? He is responsible for your father’s death.”

“He didn’t pull the trigger. He did, however, hurt your old lady. He tried to take her from her Knight, and that alone is reason enough for you to have the right to kill him,” Mike said.

Daniel must have taken the gun, because by the time I reached the car and Katie had gotten back out of the car to help me get into the car. My dress was too awkward due to the size of it. It made it difficult to do certain things, like get in and out of a car, or go to the bathroom. I just needed to hold out till we had taken some more photos and had our meal, then I could take off the train and the bulkier part of the dress, so that I could take the bike ride with Daniel.

Katie helped me get into the car and then climbed into the front passenger seat herself, before I turned around to look for my husband. I needed to know everything was okay and that he was okay.

I watched Daniel point and fire one shot into Vargas’ head. I let out a breath of relief, one that

I hadn’t realised I had been holding. It felt like a weight had been lifted from me. Vargas was gone, and I was safe, everyone around me was safe. Daniel immediately wiped the gun clean and handed it to Crusher. Mike said something to Crusher, which made him nod his head. I knew exactly what Mike had asked Crusher to do. He asked him to handle Vargas dead body, and deal with the weapon. A second later, Mike and Daniel both turned and headed to the car

Katie and I were in.

Daniel climbed into the back, sliding across the seats to sit as close as he could to me. I offered him my hand, which made him smile. “Let’s focus on us, now. It is what we deserve,” !
