Daniel’s POV-

I heard everything that happened in that kitchen, and I will be reporting Darla’s behavior to Prez after this.

She shouldn’t get to speak to women like that, even if they are new to the club. What I did like was that

Olivia called me hers and that she warned Darla to stay away from me. She is one of the club whores who

never leaves me alone.

We entered the common area of the clubhouse. It is where we eat and throw parties, relax, even play pool.

All the Knights were there and all the old ladies and children. My dad was waiting with Gold, Prez and

Mike.

Katie went to stand next to Mike as Prez yelled, “Here she is.”

Gold walked straight up to Olivia and pulled her in for a hug, before guiding her next to Prez. Hoots, cheers

and whistles sounded throughout the room.

“Everyone, I would like you to meet my daughter, Olivia…” he paused, looking at Olivia.

She gave him a soft smile, “I don’t want his or her last name anymore. I should have been born with your

last name.”

“Then I will contact my lawyers to get it changed to my name,” he smiled brightly at her, before turning to

the club, “Olivia Anderson. My daughter, and if she accepts it and, of course, after she heals and is trained, will be the future.Treasurer of this club. She has been through a lot…”

“Aww, what happened? Did step daddy r**e her?” Darla spat, her voice laced with venom.

Gold stiffed beside Olivia, and I was about ready to yell at her when Olivia spoke, “I am a virgin, unlike your

used–up ass. Look at the state of you, no respect for yourself, and definitely not able to keep a man happy for long at all. That is why you are still single.”

A chorus of gasps rang around the room, before Darla dramatically burst into tears and started screaming

how it was not fair. Prez yelled at her to go to his office and wait outside it for him to get there in a

moment.

Gold patted Olivia on the shoulder gently, as he said, “As I was saying, Olivia has been through a lot. I didn’t know about her until yesterday. Her mother, my ex, kept her from me. Her mother’s husband beat my daughter and has done for the last ten years. But now, she is where she should have always been with family.”

A few young meri, in their early twenties, took a step towards her. I moved faster than I needed to, but I

had too.

I grabbed Olivia, pulling her back towards me by her hips. She squealed, which made me chuckle, “It’s just

me.”

“know,” she replied, spinning around in my arms, wrapping her arms around my neck. She tugged me

down to her as she leaned in. She wanted to kiss me, and I am a little too tall for her.

I leaned in and captured her lips in a searing kiss, one that bound her to me.

Gold groaned, “What did I say about kissing her in front of me?”

I pulled away, looking down at her. She blushed, realizing she had just kissed me in a room full of men who

were all watching her curiously.

She rested her head against my chest, as I looked at Gold and said, “What can I say? I love your daughter.

She is my girlfriend, and if she wants a kiss, I am going to give her as many as she wants.”

Gold glared at me as Olivia whispered, “I can’t believe you just said that.”

“Believe it. You’ve got a lot of people who want to meet you, but my queen, if you start getting tired, your dad and I will take you to your new home. Time for you to meet the old ladies,” I said to her as the old

ladies came barreling towards us.

My mother was the first to get to us. I turned Olivia around and kissed her hair, before stepping back from

her. Mum whisked Olivia away with the other old ladies.

CB approached me and said, “You are a lucky bastard. She is stunning.”

“I know she is, but that does mean I will kill anyone that tries to touch her,” I replied.

Gold approached us, rubbing his head, as he sighed, “I still can’t believe she said that.”

“Well, Darla had already tried to attack her verbally in the kitchen, even dared to raise her hand to her, which I put a stop too. The intent was there though. I am just glad she stood up for herself.” I told Gold, as my dad and Prez approached us.

“Looks like I know what I need to do with Darla then,” Prez sighed, rubbing his brow.

“I wasn’t referring to Darla. I was referring to my daughter,” Gold rubbed his face.

“Bold of her to declare her virginity in front of a room full of us like that,” Dad said.

“And, you should have seen the way some of them looked at her. There was a lot of respect for her at that moment. The fact that she defended herself and insulted Darla in the sarne breath, even after everything she has been through for the past ten years, shows her strength of character.” Prez responded.

“She has hidden this side of herself, even in school. Even when Mike’s ex was bullying her, she got this look in her eyes that said she would bite back a hundred times harder than anything his ex could dish out

I said.

Dad chuckled, “The way she said what she said, though, she definitely got that from Gold. You can be cold when you snap like that. She definitely got that from you.”

“Yeah, I saw that. Right, Carnage, can you stick close to her? I need to go and make a call to my lawyer about this name change that Olivia wants to do. I hope to get it done before she goes back to school.”

Gold said to me, patting me on my shoulder.

“I won’t leave her side,” I chuckled, heading off towards her.

As soon as I got to the old ladies, they stopped talking.

“Hey, ma,” I said, hugging her and kissing her cheek.

“Did your father send you over?” Mum asked.

I shook my head, “Nope, I am here being a good boyfriend and doing as my girlfriend’s father asked. Come

here you, on your feet, and then you can sit on my lap.”

I pulled Olivia to her feet gently, before spinning us around. I sat down first and held my hand out to her to help her sit on my lap comfortably. I wrapped my arms around her hips, so she didn’t slip off.

“Where has my dad gone?” Olivia asked.

“He has gone to call his lawyer about changing your last name. He is hoping to get it done before you go back to school. So, he asked me to stay with you, not that he needed to ask.” I replied.

“Honestly, I was expecting Gold to knock you out or beat you up when you kissed Olivia like that.”

Harmony, Crusher’s old lady, said as she rocked their newborn son, Reece.

“We had a heart–to–heart. I guess seeing how I was with Olivia when she was in the hospital and how she reached for me when she needed me, showed him exactly what he needed to know.” I responded.

“Olivia, my Knight told me that you love the bakery we old ladies run. Is that true?” Mum asked.

Olivia nodded, “I love the bakery. I always have.”

“Maybe we can go there one day, have a ladies‘ day out.” Mum suggested.

“I am all for going clothes shopping. I need new ones after having this little one.” Harmony said.

“I would like that too. I only packed enough clothes for two weeks,” Olivia smiled.

“You and I are going clothes shopping when you are healed up. Phoenix, girls‘ shopping trip.” Katie shouted

“I am down for that. Just let me know when,” Phoenix called out.

“How about the weekend before you go back to school, if they give you the all clear to go back to school?”
