Chapter 25

Daniel’s POV-

Here I am meant to be on guard duty, protecting my girlfriend and Treasurer, and I have got a raging

hard–on for my woman. Something I am trying to hide from Gold, not that that is easy. Mike had already

caught sight of me adjusting myself, and the asshole has been teasing me since. Payback is a bitch, so I

will get him back.

Phoenix, Katie and Olivia were all in the lingerie store right now. Gold walked up to us and said, “I am

going to the bathroom around the corner. Don’t let her out of your sight.”

“Like I would ever do that,” I chuckled, turning to watch her through the window.

Gold chuckled, as he went to speak with the other men. Mike stood next to me, and chuckled, “You are so

going to get blue balls.”

I rolled my eyes and shrugged, “It will be worth it to have her as my woman for the rest of my life.”

“Who knew Carnage had such a soft side?” Mike teased.

“Only for her,” I smiled, noticing Gold had walked off, with one of the guys, leaving just a few men out here

with us.

I turned my attention to Olivia, who had picked up a few things already, and was currently looking at swimsuits. I watched her pick up a few different swimsuits, before moving on to a dark part of the store. I instantly stiffened. I didn’t like her not being able to see her. I moved without thinking. Mike asked, “Where

are you going?”

“To make sure my woman is okay,” I replied, opening the door, and heading inside.

Immediately, I was rushed by the store attendant, swaying her hips a little too obviously. Some young girt, who clearly was trying too hard to catch a man’s attention. I rolled my eyes at the way she was acting.” Hello handsome, how can I help you today?” she asked, with such a fliratious tone that I had to resist the

urge to gag.

“Nothing you can help me with. Ah… there she is,” I said, scanning the store, until my eyes locked on Olivia.

I ignored the store attendant, and walked straight to Olivia. I stood right behind her, slowly wrapping my arms around her waist, and pulling her back against me. She didn’t flinch, she just twisted herself in my arms a little, so she could look up at me. I leaned down and pressed a kiss to her lips, which made her giggle. “I thought my dad told you to wait outside for me to be finished picking what I wanted,” she

whispered.

I chuckled, “Like he could stop me from coming to check out what my sexy woman was buying.”

“So far, nine new matching bra and underwear sets, a lot of new panties, 3 new swimsuits and bikinis, and finally some silk sleepwear,” she replied.

I groaned, “You have no idea how sexy that sounded to me.” I sighed heavily, trying to control myself, “You are driving me crazy, my queen. But are you nearly finished? I want you to get home and rest. You have had a long day. I wouldn’t want you to miss out on our date.”

She looked down at the basket, and then around the store. Something else must have caught her eyes, because she stepped away from me, just as the door opened. I turned to see who it was. Gold walked into the store. He had a serious look on his face. At first, I thought he was pissed at me for coming in here. But

there was no anger in his eyes.

“We need to get the ladies to finish up, so we can head back. Prez has called church,” he said.

I nodded, and turned to look at Olivia, who had just approached us. She smiled up at us, “I heard, and I am ready to pay. I picked out everything I wanted.”

“Okay, princess. Go to the checkout, and we will catch Phoenix and Katie,” Gold said to her.

Olivia nodded and headed off to the checkout. Phoenix saw us inside and grabbed Katie, before heading our way. “What is going on?” Phoenix asked.

“Church has been called. We need to pay and get going now,” Gold replied.

They nodded and headed to the checkout. We followed after them. Olivia’s purchases were already wrapped and bagged up. Gold just handed his card over to pay, not even bothering to look at how much the total was. He had done that a lot today, but then he felt like he had to, and it was not like he didn’t have the means to do so. I took the bag for Olivia, and we headed outside with Gold. I asked, “Do you know why he called church knowing where we are?”

Gold rubbed his brow and sighed, “Church got paused the other day, because of me finding out I had a daughter. He wants to pick up where we left off, and he wants to discuss the charity ride and Olivia.”

“Because you are the future treasurer by birth rite. Also, not everyone in the club knows your full situation. They know you were hurt by your biological mother’s husband and that she did nothing to help you,” Gold responded to her.

Olivia nodded, “Well, when I am healed, and I can start training and riding safely, then I want you to teach

me.”

Gold raised an eyebrow as he said, “To take over from me, in everything. My business and my role in the

club?”

“Yes, I belong here. This is my home. I have never felt so at home, as I do with you guys. Plus, I am already a vigilante, might as well go all in,” she smirked.

Chapter 75

“That is the spirit, but first you rest and heal,” Gold chuckled, pulling her in for a hug.
