Chapter 37

Olivia’s POV

The ride to school was amazing. I actually enjoyed being on the back of Daniel’s bike. I knew it wasn’t going to be all the time, but whenever we could, it would still make me very happy. Daniel offered me his hand to help me off his bike. I had already noticed the mass of people gathering. Sarah and Dana were going to cause a scene that was clear.

Daniel pulled his helmet off, as he climbed off his bike. He turned and helped me pull my helmet off, before wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me flush against him. He leaned down and captured my lips in front of everyone. I knew what he was doing, staking his claim on him. I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck, and returned his kiss with the same passion he was kissing me with.

He pulled away, resting his head on mine, and sighed, “I am sorry, but they all needed to see that you are

mine.”

“Don’t ever be sorry. I like it when you get like this,” I replied, running my fingers through his hair.

“God, I love it when you do that,” he groaned, closing his eyes, enjoying my fingers running through his hair.

Our moment was broken, by Sarah and Dana screaming, “BITCH!” in unison.

“Urgh! Screaming already, it’s too early for that,” Phoenix said, rolling her eyes and shaking her head.

I chuckled, “Haven’t you heard? It’s the only thing they know how to do.”

Everyone erupted into laughter. Sarah huffed and marched straight up to Mike, who had also laughed. She raised her hand to strike him, and being the somewhat decent man he was, he was just going to stand there and take the slap. I stepped in the way, catching her wrist, and shoving her backwards. I glared at her in warning, before returning to Daniel’s side. “You left me for that bitch, didn’t you?”

“If you are referring to Olivia, she was part of the reason, but not in the way you are thinking. The rest of the reasons, you are getting boring, annoying and fucking clingy,” Mike responded, in a nonchalant tone.

“It means Olivia is much like myself and Carnage, our dads are ranked members of the Phoenix Knights. She is one of us, and we protect our own. You have been bullying her for long enough, and now I know who Olivia is, I will not stand by someone who bullied her. She is also Carnage’s woman. Those are two

reasons why I should protect her,” Mike replied.

“I am his fucking woman,” Dana snarled.

his words making me shiver.

I walked towards Dana, standing barely a step away from her, my arms folded across my chest. “You heard him, Dana. He would never want someone like you. He has only ever wanted me. Stay away from him, or you will be on the receiving end of all my bottled–up rage for the past few years. And, if you don’t know how bad that is going to be, think of every single time you and Sarah have said something to me or tried to belittle me, and I have not said anything, I’ve not reacted. I’ve hidden the real me for long enough. Stay away from my man.”

I could see the anger and fear in her eyes. I smirked, as I turned to go and stand back in Daniel’s arms. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw her raise her hand to strike me. I balled my fist, and sharply, turned back towards her, swinging my fist. My right fist came into immediate contact with her nose, breaking in and sending blood everywhere. She screamed. “Oh dear, looks like you face planted the floor. You should really watch your step,” I chuckled.

Sarah helped Dana get to her feet. As I said, “Things can only get worse for you. Remember that. Leave, mention my name and you will regret it.”

Sarah and Dana scurried away, as Katie, Phoenix and Megan all swarmed around me, showering me with praise. Not that I wanted their praise. The only praise I cared about was from Daniel. As I talked with the girls, Mike, Daniel, Devil, and Benny all spoke together. It made me happy that they were including Benny in whatever conversation they were having. I nudged Megan, “You two are getting hot and heavy. I saw the way you two were making out when we arrived here.”

“Oh please, you have already figured out that Benny and I are sleeping together. But I want to know what has happened between you and Carnage, the chemistry there is off the charts. Definitely more than just steamy make–out sessions,” Megan whispered back, only loud enough for Katie, Phoenix and me to hear.

I blushed, “Let’s just say things got more intense between us last night. We haven’t gone all the way yet, but I think we will this weekend. He asked me to stay in his room with him this weekend.”

“Oh, when our dads are away, and you get to be alone with him,” Katie giggled.

“Does that mean you are getting that tattoo done?” Phoenix asked, in a whisper.

“Yeah, let me show you the design I thought of,” I replied, pulling my phone from my pocket and showing

them.

Megan giggled, “I can’t believe you are getting tattoos finally. I know how you have always wanted them.” “I finally have the freedom to do what I want when I want, Megan, and I love it. My dad is amazing. Daniel is perfect,” I smiled.

“I am very glad of that. I have seen all the messages you have been sending me. Those pictures of your first bike ride, you in your cut. Hell all the cute ones of you and Daniel. I have never seen you so happy,” Megan smiled, hugging me.
