Chapter 38

Daniel’s POV-

School flew by today, but I was anxious about getting Olivia back on club–lands, I am worried the feeling she got was right. It wouldn’t surprise me if someone was watching her. At school, she is too out in the open. It is the perfect time to try and grab her. Not that I would let that happen. But it makes sense why they would try to come here.

The moment we told Prez, he arranged for a crew to ride by the school a few times, even had a couple more members stand guard with Atom and Fireball. Church had been called for when we get back to the clubhouse, then we will have training straight after. I think they might actually try to get Olivia up and training, nothing too strenuous yet, and she still needs more time to heal. She is strong, and has a mean

right hook.

After this morning, Dana and Sarah pretty much were gone. I think Dana went home and Sarah basically avoided us all day. It was nice to actually have peace and quiet from all their annoying talking. Olivia revealing her attitude and true personality, which she hid from everyone here, might not have been the best thing. She slapped one guy across the face today, for making a comment about her body, and another guy got thrown down the corridor by me, before she could even react to the fact that he put his hands on her. The idiots here seriously don’t get that she is taken now. It just makes her more appealing, especially since she is showing everyone the real her. Not the quiet nerdy girl everyone thought she was. Showing everyone that she is a strong, fearless woman, who has so much respect for herself.

When class came to an end, I pulled Olivia close, holding her tightly against me. She knew how I was feeling. I was agitated as hell. She was rubbing circles on my back, trying to soothe me. Mike stood to the other side of her. Katie and Phoenix walked in front of us with Devil behind us. We all knew she was the likely target, so a standard formation around her till we got her to our bikes and more men, is the safest option. It surprised the hell out of me when I saw about fifty bikers out there. But I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised, because she is the future treasurer and they always protect the children first.

As we approached them, Gold stepped towards us, and pulled Olivia away from me and into his arms. “Are you okay, Princess?”

“I am fine, dad. Let’s get home, and we can talk about this more,” Olivia replied.

“I was going to bring your cut, but I couldn’t find it,” Gold said to her.

“Yeah, I had the same problem,” my dad said, patting my shoulder.

Olivia and I chuckled, glancing at each other, before we both opened our jackets, revealing our cuts which we wore underneath. Dad chuckled, “You, two, are fucking perfect for each other.”

I knew why he said that we had literally moved in unison. Gold sighed, “A little birdie told us, you have a mean right hook, princess.”

Olivia smirked, glancing at Atom and Fireball. Atom shrugged and Fireball was looking anywhere but at

her. He was the most likely to blab. “Well, I wonder who gave you that idea. The girl face planted the floor. I didn’t break her nose, the floor did,” Olivia’s voice was laced with so much sarcasm she could not even keep a straight face towards the end.

“You got a little warrior for a daughter, Gold,” I whispered.

“Good, now let’s get her back to the clubhouse. We have church,” Gold said.

I nodded, and moved her to my bike. She zipped her jacket up, as I handed her helmet to her. I helped her get it on, before getting my own on. I climbed on first and helped her on. She wrapped her arms around my waist straight away. I could tell this morning, she loved being my backpack. “Hold on tight, my queen.”

“Always will.”

“Don’t get started with the lovey–dovey stuff. Gold, Dragon, as discussed, around your children. The rest, defensive positions around them. Keep your eyes open,” Prez’s voice came through my helmet.

Yeah, they were all getting annoyed with our lovey–dovey attitude when we are with each other. My only thought was that at least it’s not like we have been showing off the sexual tension between us. We have been able to hide it mostly, until our lips touch, then there is no hiding it.

We rode our bikes back to the clubhouse in the thundering roar of a well–oiled machine. We got back to the clubhouse quickly, climbing off our bikes and heading straight into church. CB was there typing away on his computer system, getting more and more frustrated. You could see the rage on his face slowly

getting worse.

“What’s wrong, CB?” Prez asked.

“I can’t hack any of the CCTV cameras around the school and I can’t figure out why. I have access to all the other cameras in the city, but none around the schools,” CB snarled.

Olivia giggled next to me, making CB glare at her. She held her hands up, and said, “I will admit that, that is my fault.”

“What do you mean?” CB asked.

“Well, Nova wasn’t my only means of being myself. i used my skills with computers to make money. It was supposed to be to help me leave my egg donor and that bastard she married. The city installed new cameras around schools on a separate system, and they hired me, under a fake name, to create the firewalls and security for their system. The old system had been hacked into by a ring of pedophiles, which was why they installed new cameras and a new system. It is my system, so I can get you into it,” Olivia

replied.

Gold folded his arms across his chest, glancing at me. I shrugged, “I don’t know all the things she has

done.”

“Young lady, we are going to have a sit down and discuss everything you have done contractually speaking under a fake name,” Gold said, staring at Olivia.

Chapter 36.-

She chuckled. “Sure thing.”

CB stood up and let Olivia take his spot at his computer set up. She sped through typing on the keyboard. A screen appeared and all the CCTV cameras around various different schools. She searched for our school name and then pulled up the footage from the car park from the moment we pulled up into the parking lot this morning. We were watching the other cameras as we pulled up to see if there was a car that had followed us or was watching us. Or maybe just someone lurking. The footage rolled to when Olivia got in Dana’s face. Everyone watched as Olivia moved to step back to me. Dana raised her hand, but Olivia threw a right hook straight into Dana’s face, breaking Dana’s nose.

Gasps erupted from a few people as they watched the playback. A smirk spread across Olivia’s lips, as CB

said, “Damn, nice right hook.”

“Thanks,” Olivia said, without taking her eyes off of the screens in front of her.
