Chapter 44
25 Points
Olivia’s POV
The sound of the SUV’s engine starting is what pulled me from my slumber. I stirred, as I heard one of the car doors open. I heard the heavy sigh of my dad, as he said, “Will you put her in her seat or wake her up so we can get home?”
I opened my eyes, sitting up straight on Daniel’s lap. I rubbed my eyes, and yawned, “Why did you let me sleep?”
“Because, my queen, you looked tired, and I know exactly what will happen the moment we get back to the clubhouse, so you were going to have a power nap. All I did was rub circles on your back, and you fell asleep,” Daniel smirked.
I rolled my eyes, and moved to sit next to him. He helped me buckle up. I looked up at my dad, and asked, “Is he no more?”
“Pig food,” Dad replied.
I understood what he meant. We had this talk before we left. If or when they have to kill someone, they feed them to pigs on the pig farm that the club owns. The people just disappear, no witnesses, no trace. I
nodded, “Good.”
“So, Queenie, do you like the road name, Carnage picked for you?” Dad asked.
“Well, considering she climbed on his lap and snogged his face off, I would say she does,” Mike chuckled
from the front seat.
Daniel was smirking next to me, as my cheeks flushed. As Daniel chuckled, “Jealous, are you, Mike?”
“Nah, I will get one of the club whores later,” Mike shrugged.
I looked up at my dad and said, “I love the road name. I think is perfect and will remind everyone that I am his queen, and your princess.”
Dad nodded, a smile spreading across his face, “So, how are you feeling after all that?”
[
“I am okay, Dad. I know it had to happen. I know not everyone will be forthcoming with information. I also know we have to protect our own. I am okay with it all,” I replied.
“She can handle it, even better than I expected. She didn’t flinch at all when he was being beaten,” Daniel
said.
“I am more impressed with what she said, she made him give up even more information, and scared the life out of him in the process. She didn’t raise her hand or her voice,” Atom commented from the driver’s
seat.
Mike chuckled, “I have to admit, that impressed the hell out of me. The other knights in there were

impressed too.”

1 smiled to myself upon hearing those comments, because let’s be honest, I am stepping into this word, probably faster than T should. But I have no choice but to step into this world with the threats against me. I really have no choice. I glanced up at my dad to study his expression, wanting to know how he felt about what they had said about what I had done. A prideful smile slowly broke out across his face, as he said, “I am very proud of you, princess. You handled things very well, but they won’t always be that easy and could get far worse the next time. So, you still need to train. Is that understood?”
“When have I ever slacked on anything? I won’t let you down,” I replied.
“Good. Are you ready to go home? Early night, though, we will have church after you finish school
tomorrow,” Dad said.
“Gold, don’t forget that we all have to go back to the clubhouse first. Queenie’s first mission and all, plus everyone will need to hear the road name that Carnage chose for her,” Mike said.
“Yes, well, we can all go to the clubhouse first, and then you kids would need to head to bed early, as you have school tomorrow morning,” Dad said.
Daniel and Mike chuckled, but still nodded. I nodded, “I am tired, so I will get something to eat in the clubhouse and then head home to get some sleep.”
“I will walk you home when you are ready to leave, my Queen,” Daniel said, taking my hand in his.
“Thank you, Daniel. I might stay a little while longer and have a few beers with Prez and Dragon. Okay,
Princess?” Dad asked.
I nodded, “I am not going to stop you from having drinks with your best friends because I am tired and want to go home. I am eighteen in just over a week.”
“Speaking of your birthday, did you want a birthday party or something else?” Dad was studying my expression closely.
I never really celebrated my birthday, it was just another day of hell under my egg donor and her husband’s roof. They never did anything to celebrate my birthday. Benny and Megan were the ones who got me a cake, and some gifts. I sighed, and shrugged, “I have never celebrated my birthday, not until I became friends with Benny and Megan. They were the first to get me gifts and a birthday cake. My egg donor and her husband never celebrated my birthday, it was just another day for them.”
“Remind me when you became friends with them again,” Dad said, his voice steadier than I thought it
would be.
“I have been friends with them since middle school. Thirteen is when we got really close, so fourteen is when they celebrated my birthday with me for the first time,” I replied.
Mike’s head snapped around from the front passenger, his jaw dropped, as he said, “You are joking, right?” I shook my head, as I glanced at my dad and then at Daniel. Dad was pissed and growled, “You are having

a party in the clubhouse. Invite whoever you want from your school. It will be a biker’s 18th birthday party though. If you have a party at the clubhouse, like Mike, Carnage, Devil, and Phoenix had, then you are going to meet all the other chapters and our allies.”
Daniel had pulled his phone out and texted someone, before he whispered, “You are going to get spoiled rotten this birthday.”
“Are you both going to go crazy for my birthday?” I asked.
Dad and Daniel nodded, but said nothing further, like the decision was settled. So, I guess I am going to be a pampered princess that day for a change. That’ll be the first time. Atom turned the SUV on to club lands, going through the open gate, as the first SUV had already gone through the gate.
When the car came to a stop outside the clubhouse, we all climbed out of the SUV. Daniel took my hand, after he handed his gun and knife over to Atom. I handed mine to Atom as well. He was going to lock them up in the armory before joining us in the common area. Dad and Daniel walked either side of me as we headed into the clubhouse. Dad whispered, “Brace yourself.”
Prez and Dragon walked through the doors first, but the moment we did, Dad and Daniel each grabbed
one of my legs, lifting me up on to their shoulders. “Queenie’s first mission and she scared a man half to
death with a few words. We got all the information he had, and she even extracted more information from
him,” Prez’s voice bellowed, before clapping.
Cheers and clapping rang out, as I was held high in the air by my dad and Daniel. I blushed at all them
cheering me on, because let’s be honest, I have never really had this much praise in all of my life, and I
barely did anything. I was mostly along for the ride. But then I could understand they wanted me to take
small steps into this world and this was already quite a big step.
Dad and Daniel finally lowered me to the ground, as everyone began asking what happened and what I had
said that made a man scared to death. I thanked CB for the MP3, because that really helped us scare him
before we even began interrogating him. Beth was a godsend when she called out that the food was ready. I was starving and to be honest, I was getting tired. I also wanted to have the chance to be alone with Daniel, give him a proper thank you for my road name.

Daniel and I got our food together, taking our seats next to each other. We ate our dinner and talked about what we planned to do after school tomorrow. After tomorrow, we only have two days left till the weekend. On Friday, I have to come to stay at the clubhouse, while my dad goes on his run with the others. A part of me was eager for the day to come, but also really nervous. Phoenix and Katie came over to us, with Mike and Devil. “So, after school tomorrow,” Phoenix said, looking straight at me.
“For the thing?” I replied.
Phoenix and Katie nodded, and I smiled, “I am down for that.”
“What are you girls‘ talking about?” Daniel asked.
“It is a girls‘ bonding thing we are doing,” Katie replied, which Phoenix and I nodded along with too.
