Daniel’s POV-

I am impressed as hell with Olivia, with my Queen. She was handling everything like a god–damn queen, and she is all mine. John had finally agreed to yield and tell us everything we wanted to know. Gold came over to us, placing his hand on Olivia’s shoulder, and whispered, “Are you okay, Princess?”

“I am fine, Gold,” Olivia replied.

“Are you sure?”

Olivia nodded, “Absolutely, no flinching, no looking away, and absolutely no fear at all.”

“That’s my girl,” Gold said. Despite wearing a mask, you could tell he was grinning ear to ear.

“Gold, back over here and let’s listen to what this idiot has to say,” Prez called out to him.

Gold moved closer. We all needed to listen to what John now had to say. “First question, who hired you to watch my daughter?” Gold spoke calmly but completely cold.

The iciness in his voice has made even the strongest and most ruthless of bikers buckle in fear. John

wheezed, before spitting blood on the ground. “His name is Romano Vargas. He is a powerful gun runner in the states. Very wealthy and very powerful.”

“Why did he tell you to find my seventeen–year–old daughter?”

“What I said early. He said that his fiancée had run away and was posing as a school girl inside this high school. I didn’t know she was seventeen. He told me that story and showed me a picture of her at a

charity gala with who I assumed were her parents, and she looked like she was in her twenties in a tight elegant blue dress showing off every single womanly curve that she has.” John said, sounding like he was drawling, which made Gold step forward and smack him again.

“Don’t talk about her like that, or you will get beaten again. This time I will let her boyfriend beat you,” Gold

warned.

I cracked my knuckles, wanting nothing more than to beat the absolute shit out of this fucker. He deserves it for just looking at a picture of her like that. John groaned, “I am sorry. I was just trying to explain why I thought she was older. Back to what he said. He paid me to observe her and report back any information that I could figure out about her. He still wants me to find out more, especially considering that I reported that she has been seen with countless bikers. I didn’t get a clear view of your cuts, so I wasn’t able to tell him that she was with the Phoenix Knights. If he was lying about her being a woman in her twenties, ! assume he lied about quite a few other things. He told me her name was Olivia Emerson.”

“That is not her name, so yes, he has lied. What did you report back to him?” Gold asked.

“Only that she looked fearless in dealing with bullies, that she defended a man, and that I had seen her being held by another man and being kissed by him. He looked all over her, and she was with him. Romano

was pissed at hearing that, I am positive I heard him point and fire a gun at someone,” John replied.

raised an eyebrow, beneath my mask, upon hearing that. Romano was pissed about me making out with my woman. He has to be obsessed with Olivia. That alone makes me think he won’t leave her alone. This sounds like something more than him just buying her from her stepfather and step–uncle. Was he obsessed with her beforehand?

“You think he is obsessed with my daughter?” Gold asked.

John nodded, “He sounded obsessed.”

Olivia stepped away from me, towards her dad, folding her arms across her chest, as she spoke, “He sounds like the type to monologue his plans. For you to even get a bearing on whether he is obsessed, he must have said something of his plans, of his true intentions.”

“You are her. You wouldn’t want blood on your hands from them torturing me, would you,” John tried to say to Olivia.

Olivia chuckled, “I have seen things that would drive people to the brink of insanity. Things that could be your worst nightmare. Though I have never done anything bloody or gory, I have toppled entire businesses, destroyed the worst sorts of people’s lives, and I have done it without flinching. So, try me.”

She paused, waiting for him to recoil and he did. He recoiled, a fearful glint in his eyes. He was wondering just how crazy she was. I, however, was trying to calm myself down. My d**k sprung to life in my pants, seeing Olivia speak like that has really done a number on me. Her dad is in the room, I do not need him

seeing I have a raging hard on for his daughter. Damn, this woman has me good.

“Now, answer my damn question,” she said, in a cold tone that rivaled her father’s.

“He said he has been hooked on you since he saw you four years ago, at an event your stepfather took you

too. When he saw that he was trying to sell you, he decided that he wanted to save you, because clearly

you needed to be saved. So, he brought you. He said that he was going to try and hold out until you turned eighteen before claiming you. He wanted your purity intact until the day of your wedding,” John explained.

“Is there anything else that he said?” Gold asked.

John nodded, “Just that no matter how much she refused, or she tried to run, she would be his. He would force her into marriage and to bear his children if he had to.”

“How does he contact you?” Prez inquired.

“My phone, his number is on there. He sends me text messages, so there is a string of messages on there

between me and him,” John answered.

“This one,” Dad said, holding up a phone that I knew was not his.

John nodded, as Dad said, “I switched it off, but you need to tell me the password to unlock the phone.”

John rambled off the password, before asking what we were going to do with him. Simple answer. He was stalking a Phoenix Knight, and not just any Phoenix Knight, but the future treasurer of the Phoenix Knights.

John didn’t know it, but he signed his own death warrant.

“Carnage,” Gold called out.

I stepped towards eeld, “Yes, Gold.”

“Would you care to take your woman and my daughter out of here, please? She does not need to see what we do next,” Gold said.

Olivia stood up and turned around, her hands going to her ample hips, as she stared her father down through the mask. Gold folded his arms across his chest, daring her to argue. I wrapped my arms around Olivia’s waist, pulling her back against me, and whispered, “Listen to your father, my queen. I want to be alone with you.”

I looked up at Gold, and said, “I will take Queenie back to the

SUV

Olivia’s head snapped up to mine. Everyone knew what that name was. No one had to say anything. Prez chuckled, “Carnage, Mike, Atom take Queenie out to the SUV, and wait there for us. It should only be about thirty minutes.”

We nodded, and I guided Olivia out to the SUV, with Mike and Atom just behind us. I opened the rear passenger door and let Olivia climb in first. I jumped straight in behind her. Mike and Atom climbed into the front seats. The moment I closed the door behind us, Olivia turned and swung her leg over my lap,

straddling me. She tore my mask off and her mask. The confidence of her straddling me like this, reminds

me of that very first night in the back of the SUV. Those memories sent blood rushing to my d**k, straining

against my jeans. Her lips crashed down on mine. She was pouring so much passion and love into the

kiss, that a small soft sound slipped from her lips. I pulled away from her the moment I heard her make

that sound.
