Chapter 52
Daniel’s POV-
Pete was stupid to come here, and he knew it was going to be a death sentence for him. He said it was why he went into hiding. I have to admit the way Olivia made every Knight in that room stop and listen There were so many curious gazes at how she would handle the situation. It was moments like this where we could truly see how she would handle our world. Gold still struggled to want to let her in with the gruesome parts. The way she ordered me to take Pete’s eye if he didn’t tell her exactly what she wanted to know, was incredible. She commanded a power and presence that we could only respect. She was going to be a great ranked member here.
When Gold asked me to take her home, after she confronted Peter did it without hesitation. I was more surprised that she made a little bed on the floor with pillows and blankets near the fireplace of the living room, in Gold’s house. Gold told me to stay with her, and I think she did this, because she didn’t want her dad to find us in her bed together, when he came home. I understood that. Olivia fell asleep first with her head on my chest. I tried to stay awake, to wait for Gold to come home, so I could try and speak with him about anything else that Pete had said.
What Olivia asked Pete, left me wondering whether what he said was true. If Olivia’s mother really is pregnant and being held hostage by Vargas, what could we possibly do? Pete also said she might have miscarried, which then means it was just Olivia’s mother. A woman Olivia hates, a woman I hate and even Gold hates her. I reckon many of the old ladies do too. wanted to know what we planned to do about everything Pete had said.
I tried to stay awake, but it felt so cozy, so warm being under these blankets near the fireplace with her, that I fell asleep, snuggled up with her. It felt so good to hold her in my arms all night long.
I heard voices coming from outside the house, that instantly woke me up. When my eyes shot open, I noticed that I was still in Gold’s living room, with Olivia still fast asleep on my chest. The fire I had set last night in the fireplace was nothing but embers now. I listened to the voices that were coming from outside, recognizing them immediately. Gold was out there with my dad, Rrez and Mike. They were discussing how no one had heard from either of us since last night. I heard them climb the steps of the porch, before
opening the door quietly.
I closed my eyes and snuggled into Olivia. This will probably earn me a beating from Gold, but I don’t care.
I promised to stay with her. I kept that promise. That is exactly what I am going to tell him. I listened to
them, pretending to be asleep. Gold started to head up the stairs. As I heard, Prez whispered, “Gold, don’t
get pissed, but he did keep his promise.”
Mike chuckled, “I got to get a picture of that.”
I am going to get those pictures off of him later. Gold stepped into the room, and growled, “They better not
be naked.”
I felt Olivia stir next to me, and my eyes shot open. I groaned, and looked around to see them all in the

room, before turning to look at Olivia and smiling at her, still nestled on my chest. Dad chuckled, “They aren’t naked, Gold.”
“What are you all doing here?” groaned, a little stiff from sleeping all night on the floor.
“It’s morning, and no one has seen either of you since you left last night. Fuck’s sake, I should have come home earlier,” Gold growled.
“Just so you know, Gold, she didn’t want to be alone, and I figured you would be home, so we just curled up on the floor. She fell asleep first. I must have crashed out sometime after, waiting for you to get home. I also was trying to keep my promise to you,” I responded.
Gold groaned, “Thank you for keeping your promise. You’re a good man, it’s just going to be hard for me to
get used to seeing this.”
Olivia stirred on my chest, and looked up at me. I met her gaze, and smirked, “Morning, beautiful.”
She leaned in and pressed her lips to mine, “Morning, handsome.”
She came back in for another kiss, as Mike cleared his throat. Olivia stilled in my arms, making me
chuckle softly. I watched as she slyly glanced around, not daring to lift her head. She saw the boots of the
other bikers in the room. “Morning, Princess,” Gold said.
“Morning, Queenie,” Mike, Prez and my dad all said in unison.
Olivia groaned and sat up, rubbing her face. “Please tell me you all got some sleep.”
“Well, I did. Looks like you two definitely did. I got some nice pictures,” Mike said.
“Oh, you got to send them to me,” I smirked, which made Mike nod.
Olivia glared at me, as I sat up, nudging her, “You look like an angel when you are asleep.”
Olivia blushed, but rolled her eyes, looking up at Gold. “Did you get some sleep?”
Gold shook his head, “No, but I had a lot more to ask him, and then I needed to find out if it were true, before we finally dealt with him once and for all. So, no, neither of us three did.”

“Well, I am going to get ready for school, and you three had better get some sleep while we are at school,”
Olivia said, as she stood up.
I got to my feet and stretched my body, as I said, “I need to get ready too.”
“Your mother packed some breakfast for you and Olivia, so us men could get some rest. Especially Gold. She, much like Olivia, was not impressed by the fact we were up all night,” Dad chuckled, holding one bag
out to each of us.
We took them and thanked him. Olivia tucked into the croissant my mother had packed for her, with ravenous need. She must have been hungry. But I was just glad she was eating better. I cleared my throat, “What else did you learn?”
