Chapter 62

Olivia’s POV-

I am overwhelmed, severely overwhelmed. I have never in my life been around so many people that have wanted to get to know me, wanted to come and help keep me safe. They were all called here, because my safety was threatened. I never expected this many would come here. The more that turned up, the closer and tighter Daniel held on to me. He got to a point where he wouldn’t let anyone near me. He would follow me to his bathroom in his room. Something told me that whatever Mike had said to him in private had triggered his protective instincts to increase even more than I thought they would have around this lot. It was like he didn’t want to trust anyone here apart from CB, Crusher, and Mike. Katie was sitting close to the old ladies, but was getting frustrated whenever one of the younger bikers would flirt with her, and then they were told who she was, they all but ran away. No one wanted to get on the bad side of Prez.

We had just finished dinner, and I was curled up on Daniel’s lap. He wouldn’t let me sit in my own chair, even when eating dinner. I was going to question him tonight about what was going on with him. Something told me I wouldn’t get a straight answer right now. Mike brought over a few beers, and gave

one to me and one to Daniel. “You both okay?”

“I am good, what about you, my queen?” Daniel said, his eyes fixed on me.

“A little bit overwhelmed by everyone here,” I whispered.

Daniel smiled softly at me, “I understand, you are not used to having this many people crowding around you ready to protect you, to keep you safe. Am I right?”

I nodded against his chest. He pressed a kiss to the top of my head. “You will always be safe, and I will always find a way to keep you safe.”

“I know you will.”

Doc approached us, and asked, “Are you okay, Queenie? No pain from your injuries. I know I said they are all healed, I still wanted to check in after everything you have done today.”

I smiled at him, “I am okay, Doc. No pain from anything. I am just a little bit tired and probably a little overwhelmed by all this.”

He smiled, chuckling softly, “I am not surprised many get very overwhelmed by all this, especially the old ladies when it’s their first time being around so many bikers. But you are doing really well. You will get

used to this all in time.”

Daniel said, “If you are tired, my queen, shall we go to bed?”

Just as I looked up to respond to him, the doors to the clubhouse flung open, and a voice recognized all

too well, bellowed, “WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER?”

I lifted my head up, turning to look towards the entrance. They are back early. The room went silent, and everyone parted ways to let them through to me. Prez and Dragon followed closely behind my dad, who

rushed over to me. “What are you doing back so early?” I asked.

“We received emails, with photos of you attached to them, not long after the hack that you and CB

stopped. We completed what we needed to and hurried back here,” Dad said, as he knelt down next to me.

His eyes scanned over me, fixing on my neck, as I glanced at Daniel, “So, that is why you got more

protective.”

Daniel nodded, “Sorry for not telling you, my queen. But they asked me not to until they were home.”

“Why didn’t you want him to tell me?” I growled, looking at my dad.

“I know Carnage would have looked after you, but you are also my daughter, and I wanted to be here when you got told. That way, you would have your father’s support and the support of the man that loves you,” Dad replied.

“Oh, he has done a lot more than look after her emotional state,” Mike chuckled, under his breath.

Dad growled at Mike, clearly not wanting the reminder of what his little girl had been doing. He could already see the evidence of it all over my neck. Daniel smirked, “What can I say? She is my old lady and I

saw to all her needs and desires.”

Dad finally glanced down at the cut I was wearing. The very one that marked me out as the future treasurer of the club, but also as Carnage’s old lady. Dad’s lips press in a thin line, as he whispered, “Are you happy, princess?”

“Extremely happy, dad,” I smiled at him.

Dad nodded, “Tomorrow, I am going to take you back to our house, and you are going to pack up more clothing. You are going to stay here in the clubhouse. So, am I. And, yes, you can stay in Carnage’s room.”

“More lockdown restrictions for me?” I inquired.

Dad nodded, making me groan, “I am meant to be going dress shopping with Katie tomorrow for the

school dance.”

“And, you will, but with even more men, and not until after church,” Prez interjected, r

Prez turned and yelled, “I need everyone at church tomorrow at 9am sharp. Allies and other chapters as

well.”

Everyone nodded, as I asked, “Do you need me to look at the photos?”

“We will show you them tomorrow. For now, go get some rest,” Dad replied.

“I think you need more rest than me. You need to go to bed and get some sleep,” I said, looking at my dad,

who looked very exhausted.

Dad chuckled, “That is exactly where I am going to go after I have taken another shower. Just make sure you get some sleep too.”

Chapter 62

“Don’t worry, Gold, I will make sure she gets some sleep,” Daniel said.

“Yeah, keyword there is some,” Mike laughed.

I rolled my eyes, shaking my head. Dad sighed, “Just look after her. I get she is your old lady now, but she

will always be my daughter.”

Dad stood up, and smiled at me, “I love you, princess, always remember that.”

“I know, dad, and I love you too,” I smiled up at him.

Dad turned and headed for his room in the clubhouse. He was very exhausted, and I could tell he was

extremely worried about me. Dragon patted Daniel on the shoulder, “Congratulations, son. I am glad you

found your one and only.”

“Thanks, Dad. She really is my one and only,” Daniel grinned, as he bumped his nose against mine.

Dragon and Prez headed off to go and make the rounds to the other club presidents. Beth caught up with

Dragon. She wanted to be with her Knight, welcome him home. Daniel kept his eyes on me, pressing little kisses on my jawline. Mike shook his head, muttering, “When did my destructive and powerful VP, become a soft little puppy?”

“Oh, he is far from soft,” I smirked, winking at Daniel. “And, as for destructive and powerful, I still ache in

all the right places from when he wrecked me earlier.”

Daniel growled low and hungrily. “Stand up!”

The demand sent a shiver through my body. He smirked, and that was all I needed to know that he felt the

shiver. I slowly stood up, keeping my eyes fixed on him. I could see out of the corner of my eye, Mike smirking like he knew what was about to happen. In a flurry of movement, one which made me feel dizzy, Daniel stood up, bent down, pressing his shoulder to my stomach, wrapping his arms around the back of my thighs, before lifting me up over his shoulder.
