Daniel’s POV-
+25 Points
My queen was still fast asleep on my chest when I woke up the next morning. After we finished last night, she fell asleep on my chest, and I had to move her, clean her and me up, before tucking us both in to bed
so we could sleep. Last night was different and amazing. The way she moved will forever be ingrained in
my mind.
Now, I lay here watching her sleep in my arms, wondering whether I can actually keep her safe, because I don’t know everything about the danger she is in. God, today, I am making it my mission to find out everything that I can about the man after her. I am going to have to wake her up now, before they start banging on the door, or worse, burst in while we are both still in bed naked. I pressed a kiss to her head, and spoke softly, “My queen, it’s time to wake up.”
Olivia’s eyes slowly fluttered open, and she groaned, “I wish we could stay in bed longer, but I promised to go dress shopping with Katie. Dad wants me to go to the school dance, but I don’t know, I have never been
to one before.”
We hadn’t spoken about the dance yet. I haven’t had a chance to ask her. We have been busy. I doubt she
even knew if I ever went to the school dance. “You should go to the school dance, after all, I want you on
my arm at the dance.”
“You have probably been to the school dances loads of times. Must be boring for you to go to another,”
she whispered, a little unsure.
I cupped her face and whispered, “I have never been to a school dance before. I spent my time training
instead. Mike and Katie would always try to push me to go, but I only ever wanted to go if I had the right
woman on my arm.”
“Oh, so who is the right woman?” she asked, half curious, half teasingly. She was teasing, but she was
curious about the answer, even though I think she already knew the answer and just wanted to tease a
little.
୮
I chuckled, “It has always been you. You have always been my ideal woman, the perfect woman for me. So, would you be my date to the dance?”
“You never went to the school dance, because you wanted to go with me,” she gasped.
I nodded, “And I always heard that you didn’t want to go and that your parents wouldn’t let you go. On top
of who Mike’s girlfriend was, I didn’t dare ask. In some ways I regret that I didn’t ask you sooner. But you
are my girlfriend, my old lady, and I want to take you to the dance, to your first ever dance.”
“This will be your first ever dance too,” she whispered.
“Yes, it will.”
“I want to go with you as your date,” she smiled at me.

Heaned in and pressed a quick kiss on her lips, and whispered, “Good. Let me know what color dress you decide on and I will wear a matching tie. The only time you will see me in a tie is at our wedding in the
future.”
“You haven’t seen me in a dress, have you?” she asked.
“Not with my own eyes, I have seen the photos you put on your social media page. I loved that royal blue dress on you though. You look good in blue,” I replied, hoping that would answer any questions she might
ask.
Olivia opened her mouth to respond, but we both froze at the sound of a loud growl. I watched her cheeks
flush, as I chuckled, “We better get showered, and feed that beast in your belly.”
She slapped my bare chest, and rolled away from me. I followed her, wrapping my arms around her waist, pulling her against me. “Don’t you roll away from me like that. I am happy you have a decent appetite now, my queen. I love you.”
“I love you too. Now, let’s go shower, before I starve to death,” she chuckled, trying to wriggle out of my
arms.
I let her go so she could get up. I watched her walk into the bathroom, completely naked. All my blood
rushed south. I could hear the shower turning on. I took a few deep breaths trying to calm myself down, so
that I could go and join her, but this time only shower. Olivia was hungry, and I did not want to hold her up from eating. I got up, and followed her into the bathroom. We showered together, only helping each other
when needed.
I climbed out first, wrapping a towel around my hips, before handing one to her. We got dried off and dressed in record time, especially when the smell of bacon wafted into our bedroom. Yes, our bedroom. I
don’t want her to have her own room here in the clubhouse, she will stay in my room. Making my room, our
room.
We headed out together to get breakfast, which was bacon and eggs. My mum was helping to serve the
breakfast. She smiled when she saw us coming to get breakfast. “Good morning, Ma.”
“Good morning, son, Queenie. Did you both sleep well?” My mum asked us.
r
“Always the best sleep I will ever have with Queenie in my arms,” I replied, wrapping my arm around Olivia’s
waist.
Olivia blushed, nudging me, as she whispered, “You and me both.”
I pressed a kiss to her head. “Well, Olivia, I need to talk to you about the charity ride next weekend. You
said you wanted to bake something. Your birthday is on Friday, any particular cake flavor you like?” Mum
said, her eyes focused on Olivia.
“Yes, I will bake something in the kitchen at the mine and Gold’s house on Thursday. As for cake, I like
chocolate,” Olivia replied.
“Have you decided what you were going to bake?” Gold asked, appearing next to us.
