Daniel’s POV-

I was surprised that Gold gave his blessing. But I knew he could see that was serious about this.
Eventually it would really happen. Thoped we would have a year or two before I would ask her in complete surprise, at least for her. I won’t only do this because I need to protect her, I will do this because I love her
and I can’t bear the thought of being without her
Olivia hadn’t stopped staring at me in stunned silence, as church continued. Gold said he wanted to speak
with me in his office and that he needed to call his company’s PR department, so that they could plan the
announcement of Olivia Anderson as the heir to Anderson Tech.
Everyone in all the clubs here agreed that it would be the best option to bring Vargas out of hiding. Gold is
going to announce who Olivia is to him, making her a public figure. But that may not be enough to bring
him out of hiding. It might send him back to the drawing board for ten minutes, so he can plan a better
way to get her without causing a huge man hunt. As a public figure, that could very well happen. However,
what could really bring Vargas out, would be me claiming her in the eyes of everyone. Yeah, I have claimed
her as my old lady in the biker world, but she is only my girlfriend to the rest of the world. Announcing an engagement would definitely piss him off.
After everyone had agreed that was going to be the plan, then we moved on to other topics. Including
tightening security on any movements Olivia makes, it was agreed that she was not allowed to leave club
lands without a minimum of a ten–man team escorting her. There was also discussion of the MCs staying
for as long as necessary to help keep Olivia safe, which meant they would be here for her birthday party on Friday night. Olivia just nodded when they asked her if she was excited. She didn’t say anything. They did chuckle at how Olivia reacted, I think more because she hadn’t stopped staring at me. I could tell she was
still in shock, so I have been rubbing circles on the back of her hand, since the conversations moved on to
other topics.
The final topic was the charity ride on Saturday. Most of us were going to be hungover, so everyone was
reminded to sober up fast after Olivia’s birthday party. Prez and CB apparently had been running a major
social media page for it, and they had raised a lot of money so far, so they wanted everyone to be on their best behavior for the ride. Prez asked, “Shall include all your club names in the posts on the page about
the charity ride? To show them that the biker community across America is united for this cause.”
Everyone nodded, as I said, “If Vargas is watching this club, then show him how many clubs have come to
our aid in protecting Queenie. Might scare him enough to make him act rashly and make mistakes.”
“He makes a valid point. So, if we are all in agreement, CB will formulate a post for the page including all of you,” Prez said.
Grunts of agreement sounded throughout church. CB cleared his throat, “Is it okay if I pull Web in today? I know he only arrived yesterday, but the more hands I have to find out information, which, right now, is becoming difficult.”

“Why is it becoming difficult?” Prez asked.

“I have been trying to trace activity on the computer system that tried to hack me. I noticed that the virus that Queenie sent to it, didn’t destroy it like it should have,” CB began explaining, but was interrupted by
Olivia.
“What?” she growled, through gritted teeth.
“I have been able to copy the code from that computer system, but I can’t make heads or tails of the code. It is not anything I have seen before. That is why need Web. If Queenie wants to help too, then she can, but I know she is meant to be going dress shopping for her dance,” CB said, but Olivia was already moving
towards him, to look at CB’s computer screen.
“I have time,” she said, and she wasn’t wrong. She did have time.
Web cleared his throat, and asked, “Why would we need Queenie to help?”
My eyes remained fixed on Olivia, as her eyes scanned CB’s computer screen, reading the code at lightning speed. I have always known she can read fast, I have seen her gaze more across the pages of books I have seen her read, but this was something else. CB chuckled, “You don’t know yet, Web. But Queenie has another name, a name in the hacker world, in our world.”
“What is that?” Web asked, eyeing CB skeptically.
“Son of a bitch,” Olivia muttered.
“Have you found something, Nova?” CB asked, his eyes still focused on Web, who gestured to Olivia, making CB nod his head.
Web’s eyes went wide, as Olivia pointed at CB’s screen, “That is the code for the virus. The rest of the code looks to be a defensive measure, to make the virus report back that all has been destroyed when it actually hasn’t. Oh, they are so dead.”
“They have to be as good as you to be able to find that code, as it does delete itself from the system when it fries everything on the computer,” CB said.
Olivia nodded, her lips pressing into a thin line, as she continued reading the code. She growled, “So, it’s
you.”
She did something with CB’s laptop, and then said, “I need to get my laptop.”
I watched her run from the room, as Web joined CB’s side and they looked at whatever she had done on
his computer. “I heard Vargas had access to a hacker, I never expected it to be him,” CB said.
“You and me both. I thought he went into retirement or got arrested or something,” Web said.
“Retirement no, arrested yes, escaped yes,” Olivia interjected as she returned.
She sat down next to CB, opening her laptop. “You know James Owens aka Sinkhole?”
Olivia nodded, “Not the first time, I have crossed his path. How do you think he ended up in prison? I have

been trying to track his whereabouts, but he has been off the grid. If there is anyone who could have found
the virus I sent to destroy his computer systems, it would have been him.”
“You are the reason he ended up in prison,” Web gasped, surprise and an undertone of rage flashing across
his face.
I was on my feet and heading over to them, that rage in his eyes was enough to kick me into a protective
state. Olivia is my old lady, after all. Olivia raised an eyebrow, folding her arms across her chest, as she sat
back in the chair to look up at Web. “Do you know why he ended up in prison?”
Web shook his head. Olivia sighed, “He created a place for pedophile’s to not only share and discuss their
urges, but to sell children to each other. He was involved in human trafficking of minor children. By the
