Where the fuck is she? Where the fuck is my queen? My blood was ready to boil over with rage from the uninvited guests outside, but at the same time, it was running so cold, because she had disappeared and I couldn’t find her. It was an odd feeling and one I do not want to ever experience again.

I hurriedly checked the safe room, to make sure she hadn’t run in there, and of course she hadn’t. I should have known better. My woman wanted to be right in the front line of this. I knew exactly what possessed her to run off like this. She wants to show Vargas that she isn’t going to hide behind the rest of us. She will

be right at the front fighting.

I turned and bolted towards the armory. I had no weapon and if I was going to back her up, I needed one now. I slipped my cut off, pulled a bulletproof vest on. Stuck a gun in the waistband of my pants, stuffing a couple of magazines in my pockets, as Animal said, “Queenie was in here a couple of minutes ago. I was going to stop her, but she was so fast.”

“Did you see which way she ran?” I growled.

“She didn’t run towards the main entrance, which is where everyone is going. I figured she was heading

back to the safe room. I take is she didn’t go there,” he replied.

She hung a right coming out of the armory, which would lead to the safe room, so I could see why he thought that. But that is not the only direction that route leads. It leads to church and the stairs to the roof. She will go to high ground. But she doesn’t know that the easiest way to get in here is through the rooftop. With the loud music earlier, we would have heard them climbing or trying to force the rooftop door open. I

grabbed an earpiece and shoved it in my ear, before grabbing my cut.

I gave Animal a nod, and headed in the direction she had run. I heard gunshots ring out from the front of the clubhouse, I could hear Prez shouting orders through the earpiece. I pushed that aside and ran to search for my Queen. The same pull I used to follow her around at school, that always helped me find her, I knew I had to use it again. I needed to know if she tried to sneak out through the back of church or whether she was heading to the roof. It was a strange feeling to experience, but the only way I can describe it as a sharp tug on my heart, the further I am away from her, the harder the tug. The pull is damn

near painful when I am away from her now.

As I suspected, she had gone to higher ground. She had headed towards the stairs. As I reached the door that led to the stairs, and heard gunfire. For a split second, I thought it was coming from the entrance,

because there was gunfire coming from that direction, but the moment I pushed the door open quietly, I heard the gunfire coming from inside the stairwell. I pushed forward, drawing my gun, and cautiously

moving up the stairs, speaking quietly into the microphone attached to the earpiece. “Breach, rear

stairwell, from roof.”

<Chapter 75

Lelimbed the first set of stairs, only to find Olivia crouched down, returning fire to those shooting at her. As I took in the situation, three men were down already, and only one man was left. She took out three guys solo. Hell I was impressed. I slid across the ground next to her, as she fired up. I whispered, “Cover

me, my queen.”

Olivia nodded, and I moved. I went straight up the stairs, as she fired a few more rounds to cover me. I kept out of sight of the other man, until found him firing shots down at Olivia. I managed to get close, he was so focused on trying to shoot Olivia, that he didn’t even notice me. I shot him at point–blank range in the back of the head. I moved up the stairs to check the roof. It was clear. I pulled the door closed and

tied it shut.

“My Queen, my queen,” I called out, realizing I hadn’t heard from her.

I ran down the stairs to her to make sure she was alright. I could still hear the gunfire coming from the entrance. I rounded the final corner, and saw Olivia wielding a fire axe. She was raising it above her head, and swung it down on the head of one of the men she had shot dead. “My Queen, what are you doing?”

“These fuckers are trying to ruin my birthday. Time they got a message,” she replied, the coldness in her

voice sent a shiver through me.

A shiver that would have made most people scared, but for me, fuck, I wanted to take her back to our

room and fuck her until the sun came up. Especially with how fucking hot it was seeing her swing that fucking axe just now. Four Knights burst through the door to the rest of the clubhouse, as I approached Olivia. I grabbed her by the back of the neck, and slammed my

lips to hers, biting down hard on her lip. I pulled away, as I growled, “Don’t you fucking dare run off like that again. Especially alone.”

“Is it clear?” Atom asked, stepping towards us.

“Two of you stay here and keep an eye on the roof. I need to get Queenie into the safe room,” I replied.

Olivia growled at me, before stripping one of the dead men of his jackets. “My Queen, what the fuck are you doing?”

She grabbed the decapitated head, and wrapped it in the jacket. “Now, it won’t drip blood everywhere.”

She turned on her heels and pushed past the Knights, reloading her gun. Atom asked, “What is going on?”

“I am fucking pissed that these bastards interrupted my birthday party. Keep up, if you want to see what happens when you piss me off, go look at the three dead and, well, here is the head of one of them,” Olivia responded, as she shook the jacket which held the head.

I always knew she would fit in here, but fucking hell I never thought she would be like this so soon. We

trailed behind her as she made her way to the entrance of the clubhouse, at quite a fast pace. She was

practically running in heels.

She burst through the open entrance, and all within a few seconds, she located where the intruders were

taking cover and threw the head and jacket in their direction, so that they would see it. She fired her gun, as she moved for cover, I moved with her. Witnessing every round she fired hit a vital part of the same

vehicle that had plowed through the gate. She had not only taken out a couple of tires but had hit their radiators as well. There was no escape for them now.

Olivia moved to where Gold was taking cover. I stayed with her, as the other took cover elsewhere. As soon as we took cover, the intruders returned fire. Gold growled, “What the fuck are you going out here,

Princess?”

“Well, originally I was pissed off and heading to the roof, so I could fire on them fuckers from there, but four men were already coming down the stairs. took out three of them, before Carnage got there, and

took out the last one,” Olivia replied.

“What the hell did you throw at them?” Mike asked.

“A head,” Olivia shrugged.
